I brought my 1-year-old dog in for a grooming appointment, and he left the salon with his scrotum mutilated by incompetent groomers who somehow thought it was necessary to use a blade on such a sensitive area. On top of that, they must have been wearing blindfolds while grooming him because he came back looking like a 3-year-old got ahold of him with a pair of scissors. The haircut was absolutely butchered. When I first called to voice my concerns, the store leader, Carol, told me to take my dog to the vet and that they would cover the cost. Mind you, she didn't even have the decency to offer me a full refund. If you injure a pet badly enough that they need to see a VET, a refund should be automatic. Instead, I spent the next two nights listening to my dog cry in pain because of what they did to him. Then I got to spend the next two days playing phone tag with the incompetent store manager, Carol, and her other leaders, Skii and Samantha. Both Skii and Samantha refused to offer me a refund, claiming they had a "process." Neither of them showed an ounce of empathy toward me or my dog. Not once did they apologize or take any ownership of the situation. They simply kept telling me that only Carol could approve a refund and promised she would call me the next day. Well, today came, and by 5:00 p.m., Carol still had NOT called. She's a lazy, incompetent, poor excuse for a manager. I had to call her. The moment she heard my phone announce that the call was being recorded, she suddenly stopped talking and immediately offered to refund my card. Funny how that works. Even then, she still didn't apologize. She didn't take accountability. She didn't show a shred of empathy. If you can't be a decent human being, you have absolutely no business working with animals. I will never return to this location--or to any PetSmart. They don't care about your pets. They care about making a quick buck, and my dog's injury is proof of how little they value the animals placed in their care.

Prices are comparable to the other big box pet store and this store has an even better selection of refrigerated pet foods. They also offer shopping incentives to make the cost more competitive. It's nice to see the variety of quality foods they offer and you know you're getting the best for your pets. Although I have a couple of fluffy pups who go to the groomer, I have not used their grooming service. Can't say anything about that, but the store itself is a good place to shop and the staff is pleasant and helpful. It would be great if they built a store closer to my house, but until then, this store is on my list of places to shop.

I was in Naples for only a short period of time and was recommended this groomer. The owner Wendy is much nicer than Matthew, who is simply horrid. He will make you feel like a horrible dog owner. I said "we'll call the groomer and ask because otherwise I'm taking him to the emergency hospital." But they wouldn't. They said they didn't have the number on their records and it was Friday. Tough shit for me. I took my dog to the vet and then they confirmed it was a grooming nick and that I should never go back to that horrible place. A warning to all of you.
