Prices are comparable to the other big box pet store and this store has an even better selection of refrigerated pet foods. They also offer shopping incentives to make the cost more competitive. It's nice to see the variety of quality foods they offer and you know you're getting the best for your pets. Although I have a couple of fluffy pups who go to the groomer, I have not used their grooming service. Can't say anything about that, but the store itself is a good place to shop and the staff is pleasant and helpful. It would be great if they built a store closer to my house, but until then, this store is on my list of places to shop.

It should have risen a flag. I went in and my dog was shaking weirdly. And later that day, I noticed a HUGE streak of blood coming out of his butt. The hair around his butt is BARE and I call them to question whether my dog was nicked. I totally get it if he was nicked, mistakes happen. But they said "the groomer isn't here." I said "we'll call the groomer and ask because otherwise I'm taking him to the emergency hospital." But they wouldn't. They said they didn't have the number on their records and it was Friday. Today I brought my two Cavalier King Charles spaniels in for a bath and groom with instructions to keep them natural looking and specific instructions this visit not to cut the tail feathers on my black and tan. I explained that her hair had thinned due to a medical condition and was growing back on the tail. The tail hair was thinner than normal, but was about 4 inches long. The receptionist confirmed that she entered the information into the computer for the groomer and she clarified that she entered it under the right dog. We picked the dogs up only to find that the tail hair was cut short, the exact opposite of my instructions. The groomer, Natalie, said she was not told about the tail. She ignored the original instructions that were in the computer - keep the dogs natural. She did not accept any responsibility for her incompetence. Stay clear of this place. The communication from reception to groomers is terrible, they do not apologize or take responsibility for their mistakes and they rarely answer their phones.
