Solid surplus store. It's worth it to price check some things online because some of the items here…read moreare up there in cost, but I know that this is one of the only places you'll find many of those items. The store has an easy to navigate layout, and a great selection of military and civilian supplies, especially for outdoor activities. So why 3 stars instead of 5? - One of the guys behind the counter was really nice, but he wouldn't stop interacting with us. He asked us what we were looking for and my son said a Swiss Army knife. After initially showing us something comparable and my son no thank you, he kept trying to show us other knives and items throughout our visit. I appreciated the helpfulness, but it started coming across as a lack of personal space after a bit and made me uncomfortable. I have a hard time being direct with people though, and never said "leave me alone" or anything so maybe it's my fault. - The woman working behind the counter was kind as well, but she was visibly sick and sneezing a lot. I asked her if she was fighting something off and she said, "Yeah, I got it, gave it to my husband, and now he gave it back to me". It's really hard having a retail job because they don't give you time off, but I don't think they should've had someone sick running the register, especially sneezing. That being said, none of that is a deal-breaker for me and I'd come visit again next time I'm over that way.

Why did I find myself at an Army Navy store? I'm far from a military person but I certainly respect…read moreeveryone who protects their country by putting on the uniform. Thank you for your service! Well, here is the story. I was driving down the road the other day, minding my own business, and some guy in a pos buick almost slammed in to my favorite ride. I honked to catch his attention and the impending accident was averted. Then, this idiot started following me, gesticulating wildly, and coming way too close. I was thinking... There is no freaking way I'm letting this idiot follow me home so I pulled right over, stopped, and said "What is your problem?" The guy, gold teeth grill and all, likely driving his mom's car with his slouched-down friend who apparently didn't want to be there, appeared slightly stunned or perhaps a few brain cells short of a frontal lobe. He exclaimed insightfully "Uh, you honked at me". I said "No shit. I honked at you because you almost hit my car!". This Einstein then repeated "you honked at me". Growing tired of the conversation, I said "Stop following me!". Then, I realized I wasn't armed. Conveniently for me, he wasn't either and he quickly drove way. Now, with the preamble out of the way, I can move on to the review part of this story. I decided if this situation comes up again but ends differently, I might need to get medieval so this Army Navy store was the solution! I explained I wanted some proper weapons for scenarios like this and they fixed me right up! Thanks guys. Hopefully, I won't have to use them but, if I do, I'll update the review and let y'all know how it worked out!

Just got back home after visiting this store and I half to say it is one of the best surplus stores…read morethey have a great selection and the workers and very friendly and helpful.

As Mike S. said in his review, most Army - Navy surplus stores are a dingy collection of used…read moremilitary goods, but this store is quite the opposite. The name is actually "Headquarters Army Navy" and they specialize in brand-new clothing, boots and equipment. Most of the customers are paintball aficionados, and they're looking for camouflage clothing, military boots, and paintball supplies which Headquarters Army Navy has in abundant supply. You can also find a great selection of camping and hunting gear, as well as some knives, canteens, cooking supplies, and other equipment to add to your hurricane supplies box. Finally there's also a collection of military and tactical gear including pants, shorts, jackets, holsters, and other specialized equipment. This is one of the few places in town to find PROPPER-brand tactical pants and shorts, along with some heavy duty t-shirts. You'll find Headquarters Army Navy at the little triangular-shaped intersection where Skipper Road meets Bearss Avenue, just to the east of Nebraska Avenue. Watch for the military jeep parked out by Bearss Avenue, and turn into the gravel parking lot.

Now, I have lived in Florida for over 10-years and I have run into some really bad customer…read moreservice...but this place takes the cake. I usually take bad reviews with a grain of salt...because everyone can have a bad day; however, this business seems to have one consistent complaint. Now the bow maintenance I needed was a very simple task of replacing my D-Loop. I came in already knowing the cost and was happily going to pay it. The guy acted...well to be blunt...nuts! I spent a total of $24 and change that day...and it will be the last dime they will ever see from me!! I'll be damed if I will spend any money in a shop where they treat people the way they treated me. I can't really even explain the hostility this guy displayed...it was so odd. He acted like I had not only interrupted his day...but that this menial task had somehow put him out. Now granted, it was only $12 or so to have him tie a new D-Loop...but WTF. I don't have time for any business that treats customers in this fashion. I'm assuming that Jerry's Indoor Archery is on it's last leg...and I'm not surprised as to the reason(s) why. If you plan on spending any substantial amount of money on archery equipment...I suggest you go somewhere they will appreciate your business. I'm just one little customer who apparently doesn't matter to them...and that's okay because they won't be seeing anymore of my money! As for me...my visit to your shop cost me $24 and change; however, it cost you a new customer, potential sales of new bows, arrows, targets, archery services for me and my wife. Lets not forget...potential sales to my friends, neighbors and family. As far as the D-Loop...well, it seems to work just fine. But then again...I could have had that done pretty much anywhere archery products are sold. The other item I bought was an ammo can...which I could have bought elsewhere. So when you see Jerry's...just keep on driving.

Great shop with excellent staff. I am a novice in archery. Justin is a master technician…read more Buster is world class archer and an outstanding teacher. Going forward, I won't let any other shop touch my bows.
