One month later I was called to pickup the rifle, it was ready to go- $250.00 paid in full. Unfortunately 1st time out at the range, the rifle would not chamber a round. I returned the rifle and spoke with Travis. Next day Travis called and told me my rifle was ready- "$100.00 extra charge!!". When I questioned the extra charge, Travis and the Gunsmith (Father/Owner) became belligerent over the phone and hung up on me telling me "if I refused to pay the $100 then get my rifle and never return". Travis stated the problem was the barrel, not the swap. If that were the case, I felt THAT should have been identified during headspacing(?)- before I picked it up initially. I paid their extra $100 to avoid further conflict, I will NEVER return and would NOT recommend their service.

There were not many customers in the store at the time and there was no staff on the floor to assist. I approached the cashier's line and patiently waited while the cashier checked out a customer. Upon completing the transaction with the customer the cashier calls me up to his station by saying "What's up, what do you want". I was surprised by how the cashier addressed me, normally a professional business summons a customer to a cash register by saying "how can I help you?" My experience got even worse after approaching the cashier to inquire about the product I was looking for. The cashier didn't bother to check if the store carried the item and flat out said "bro buy something else bigger because we probably don't carry something to fit something that small". If the cashier couldn't leave his cashier station instead of telling a customer what a business "probably" does carry, he could have called over another store associate to verify if the store carried the item. After dealing with the cashier I left shooter's world and was able to purchase what I was looking from another vendor. I will not be visiting this business again. I do not recommend based off of my experience.

He made it easy for me to understand lol Then I had issues with my new firearm and asked him for help. The three men and the lady who work there were very helpful. I could go to Reload in Tarpon Springs which is more modern but they make you jump through hoops now for pistols after the suicide incident in 2016. I usually go to Shooting Sports in Tampa but they have become very crowded/busy in the last few years which is a good thing. I like Firing Line. You sign in, pay, go in. I've already taken a concealed class but learned which gun would be best for us and will soon buy one from them as well. The guys who helped everyone in the class on the range were extremely helpful and made this experience for my daughter a great memory. My boyfriend recommended it and set up the date and time for the class for her. He has to qualify for his job here, said it's one of best ranges he's been to. Glad we went.
