Couldn't even get a hello from either employee behind the counter when I walked in. Not even a "I'll be with you in a moment". Edit 1: As far as not being able to "wait my turn" I have no problem waiting for help when I can get acknowledgment from staff that a customer has walked in the building, but to be outright ignored is unacceptable in a retail setting. It makes the store very unwelcoming and rather than accept they can approach a new customer in a more welcoming way the owner decided to make my experience my fault. Double one stars. I've been personally dealing with Jeff, and sometimes his wife at his gun store. He's super knowledgeable in in every aspect of guns and ammo. I've never seen him disrespect anybody and I've hung out with Jeff for hours at a time and I have seen all races of people come into his store and never saw him have an issue with anybody, ever. I have known Jeff for many years at both this store and the previous zephyrhills store. You just can't please everyone I guess. read more

So i just finished reading his update i didn't want to have to continue to go back and forth but he's leaving me no choice . When we moved here we were told to google racist gun stores in the area to avoid this type of situation . I'm so disappointed I cannot give zero stars. As a proud gun owning American, and veteran of the USMC with several tours overseas, I strongly discourage you from doing business with this establishment. From the moment my wife and me walked into this place we were treated with utter disrespect, and chastised for asking if ammo was in stock after not seeing it on the shelves. Besides that, they have zero selection of really anything. Such a shame people like this stay in business. read more

Time and time again I went in and spoke with Jeff about some issues I was having with my rifle and I left with a new upper at a great price the upper was complete with bolt and charging handle jeff even took the time out to put it on my lower to make sure it fit. I ended up buying a .308 rifle while I was there I feel really comfortable with Jeff he has the knowledge and takes time to explain things. The owner is arrogant and his customer service is horrible, he makes you feel like he does not need your business. I went in on January 27 to have a recoil pad installed on my shotgun and I asked the owner if it was possible that it would be ready before Sunday, he said no because he had to first order the recoil pad. I kinda figured that but it does not hurt to ask, he said he would order it that week that he normally waits until he has a couple orders but that it should not be a problem on ordering that part that week. I needed my shotgun for a sporting clay event that Sunday, so I asked if is ok if I drop it off after the event and the owner said that's fine . I then offer to pay for the recoil pad at that time to make sure it was order that week, but he said that was not necessary. I showed up on Tuesday February 2 and the owner spoke to me like it was the first time he saw me. I began to explain that I've stopped by last week about the recoil pad and I was there to drop of the shotgun and he said he would need to order the Recoil pad and that it should Only take two to three days to arrive. I did not complain at the time. I had another event on February 12, so I figured that would be enough time for him to have the shotgun ready so I left the gun and again offered to pay for the recoil pad he said it was not necessary. I called Saturday February 6 to see if by chance he could provide me with a date when the shotgun would be ready I spoke with a female worker and she said he was tied up with a customer that if I leave my name and number the would return my call. He never called. I then decided to stop in on Sunday around 1pm and I explain to the owner that I called Saturday and that they said someone was going to call me back but no one did, he did say sorry but nothing else. I then again explain why I was there and he said that the recoil pad arrived Friday. I said great. I asked do you think it would be ready before Friday because I have another event? He said and I quote " it should be, I have two other guns ahead of yours". I explain to him that I had an event and that I would like to have it before. You would think he would say either yes I can have it by Thursday or say sorry it will not be ready for but you can take the gun and bring it back. No he just repeated " it should be ready" ( now that made me feel like customer service was his priority) Nothing definitive at all like he did not need my business. I then ask him to provide me my gun and that I would pay for the part and take it somewhere else. He then said no one will have it ready before Friday, and I said to my self wait didn't you say it should be ready so if he know it would not why tell me it should be incredible. This guys was just very arrogant and had zero customer service skills. He will be lucky if his business stays open for another 6 months. I would not recommend this shop to anyone of my friends. One of the deciding reason to go here were some of the review that say excellent customer service, but honestly don't know how they can say great and excellent customer service. read more
