I'm a big fan of the barrel and bottle. They're always pouring fun wine and beer, and they oftentimes have free wine tasting. This past weekend Chris from Wine Trends featured PNW labels and of course I had to take a bottle of the substance pinot noir by Charles Smith. They have a ton of fun labels and good variety in varietal and in pricing. There is an orange wine I pick up every time I go to north market (Bonny doon) as this is the only wine my mother in law will drink haha. I quite enjoy their Frico dry rose by the glass. Vibes are alway right at Barrel and Bottle so I like to bring my food here to eat!

Wandering through the North Market my husband was distracted by this small bar in the middle of all the hustle & bustle. He ordered us a couple Bloody Marys and oh my, they were delicious. It was nice to find a quiet spot to people watch for a little while.

Love B & B, to-go Beer, Mimosas and Bloody Mary's...what could be better?!? They have a great selection of wine and beer, plus a bar and high-top tables for you to hang out with you friends. One of my first and favorite stops when I'm at North Market!

This place is so much fun they have $3 dollar 5oz shorts and allow you to sample ANYTHING your heart desires before you buy it!! The bartenders are very conversational and friendly. The beer taste really good.

This was a great little spot that I found while visiting Columbus. Looking forward to trying and reviewing the local brews I found!

Parked in front of the walkway area having a tasty local brew.

Really great spot to have a drink. Bar, tables, and a "window" with stools where you can do some good people watching. Good selection of local draft beers.

Really cute spot with great drinks.Staff were really friendly and fast. Love being able to carry my drink around the market while getting food and browsing the other shops. Thanks!

I don't even know where to start with this places..but let's just say this is a foodie's HEAVEN! First off parking, they have a parking lot that a pay rate per two hours however, you can get validation from whichever place you choose to dine inside and receive a free hour of parking so that was awesome! They have a cute picnic bench style seating area outside to enjoy your food and/or drinks when the weather is nice. The weather was around 85 so we made sure to take advantage! Now as soon as I walked inside, it's legitimately a food hall with anything you can choose from: seafood, Thai, American, Baked Goods, Wine/Spirits and so much more. I opted for some seafood and to partake at one of the beers on tap. The salmon burger from The Fish Guys was fresh and the homemade sauce made it that more delicious. For a burger with chips and drink, it was roughly $10! I headed over to the Barrel and Bottle where I was greeted happily by Princess. I was able to sample one of the beers and for a nice size glass it was $6. I was thoroughly pleased with all purchases and just the environment and will come back if I'm ever in Columbus!

Unfortunately, we didn't have any of the ingredients needed to make it fun, if you know what I mean. We searched Yelp and found this spot rather close by. We decided to give it a try and were stoked to find that they were open... and busy at that. They had a great inventory of wine, liquor, beer, etc. and had exactly what we needed, prosecco, schnapps, vodka and fruit puree. I'll also add that despite how busy they were, the staff was great. They helped us find what we were looking for while we wandering around aimlessly trying to find the goods. Prices were right on money, too. I don't live in the area, but my sister does, and I have no doubt we'll be back when need be. #grateful

They have a good selection of stuff (I am a bourbon and cocktail person) but nothing amazing. What really frustrated me was around payment. They charge a fee if you use a card: their prices are the same as other stores who do not charge a fee to use a card. Anyways, I used a debit card and found out, after, I was charged a fee. They did offer to refund my charge and I could pay with cash but I did not have enough cash on me. In my experience, this is the ONLY store I have EVER been charged a fee for using a debit card or credit card. It just feels greedy.

This review would've been 5 stars based on my first visit yesterday, when I encountered friendly…read moreand congenial members of the staff who genuinely wanted to help customers find what they were looking for in the store. But after the experience I had today with a person whom I believe to be a manager, that was all soured. I felt accused and accosted personally, but more concerning was that I felt as if this manager was looking for a reason to make other staff members look bad for wanting to help a customer find what they were seeking. I'm a whiskey fan and it's widely known amongst the whiskey community that certain products that aren't available elsewhere are easier to find in the state of Ohio. Naturally I wanted to visit a few shops to see what I could find, and in a tip from a friendly bartender, I visited a store in Lima that shared some info about upcoming allocation release dates and suggested I check in Columbus because they might be releasing them sooner, and that's how I ended up here. We were greeted and welcomed in, and after perusing the shelf I asked for the bottle I hoped to find. A staff member shared that they did not have any currently available, but suggested I check back today (6/21) because it was expected and should be out in the morning after opening. I came in around 10:30am and saw this manager on the phone, having what appeared to be a fairly heated conversation, which abruptly ended when an apparent regular came in to shop. She chatted with him and the asked if I needed help so I asked for the bottle I hoped to find and watched as her demeanor rapidly changed. She snapped back with a short "no. We don't have any." To which I replied "Oh ok. Thank you. I was here yesterday and I as told it may be released today, so I thought I'd check since I can't get it at home." And then I proceeded to walk toward the door. Before I could walk out she quickly said "Sir. Who told you about it?" I said "excuse me?" "Which employee told you about it? They're not supposed to and I need to know for training purposes." The words were believable but the tone of voice said everything I needed to know. I told her I didn't remember, but instead of accepting my answer she continued to ask, and I continued to say I didn't remember. She went on to ask me to identify them by their hair, and eventually by race and I still said I didn't remember, at which point she stopped and let me leave. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and unnecessary. I understand why they want this to remain internal, but no harm came from the employee trying to help me as a customer, and questioning a customer like that did not feel right at all, and as a result I felt I needed to share the experience.
