I've been a runner my whole life and started getting recurring injuries which prompted me to try new forms of exercise. I joined the Barre when it opened. I have gotten stronger and lost a few inches. I go to anywhere from 4-7 classes a week and LOVE it! I have never felt so strong and physically capable in life. It's call the Barre but it offers a variety of classes from HIIT, Kettlebell, Yoga, Pilates, Pound, Hot Hula, Strengthen & Lengthen in addition to the Barre classes. The instructors are great to both challenge you and work with people who have injuries to show modifications. The environment is welcoming, clean and super friendly. There are a wide variety of people that go there. My hour at the Barre is an hour of the day just for me and I treasure it. I have made many friends there and never feel judged. This is the best place to have a great workout while having fun doing it! I have been to almost every single gym in town but nothing feels as comfortable to me than the barre. Meg the owner is amazing, she some how makes sure to treat every member like they are her family/BFF! You walk in with a smile from Meg and then she kills you with an amazing full body workout. I took the Vinyasa Flow class with Waylon and it was both challenging and relaxing. After 2 weeks traveling I was looking for somewhere to re-connect to my body and find some mental focus. The Barre Poctallo met my needs. I just moved to Pocatello and Waylon was not only a skilled instructor, but he went above and beyond to offer personalized tips for things to do in Pocatello and overall made me feel at home in both the town and the studio. I joined The Barre several months ago and have loved the studio. They have awesome instructors and a great variety of classes. Their classes are fun, challenging, and work with any fitness level. If your sick of going to the gym and doing the same stuff over and over this is the place for you. If you find yourself staring at the wall trying to use a machine and getting bored. This is the place for you. If your looking for something different with both high energy classes and relaxing meditation.. this is the place for you. Took my 4 year old daughter to a Yoga/Meditation type class and the teachers and other members were so welcoming. She did great and passed out during the end meditation. read more
