It's s good hike to the top of the hill, but the conditions were perfect, packed and fast! The tubes were the fun, but I have to be honest I loved the flat sled, even though I was spinning out of control. Fun to let loose. After our group rapped up we hiked another 2 miles over another hike and back around. Stunning view in the country side. They do offer carriage rides, I don't know if they were running since the snow was pretty low. Fun place to take a group or family to get out and enjoy the countryside.

From the Brussels sprouts starter... wow probably the best we've had. The main entrees of lobster pasta and filet mignon that melted with every bite, and the crisp fresh vegetables on the side... holy Hannah! Even the damn cheese cake was phenomenal with its wild local blueberries.... We ate every bit of all of it. Then Cesar shocked us with some smoked old fashions that completely exceeded expectations... it is a baked Alaska for beverages. Even the next morning we had a voucher for breakfast...the spinach tomato quiche, made in house, was so damn delicious. We assume it's made by the same chef. We thought we were just headed to your average hotel restaurant, we were very wrong. The only thing that I would say we struggled with was the damn mattress. The most uncomfortable sleep we've had in a long while. We may not go back to sleep but we will absolutely go back for drinks and good eats! The entire staff is incredibly kind, helpful and pretty knowledgeable about the town and even the building.

I had a cleaning crew of 10 people make the place spotless. We mopped, scrubbed the kitchen, swept, changed all garbage liners, set every light switch as requested. It is 8 weeks after the wedding and we have not received our deposit back. The owners dodge calls repeatedly. When we finally get them on the phone we get told that we will get a call back. The call back never comes. Now 8 weeks later we are being told that we left the place a mess and that we are only getting a partial refund. We haven't actually even gotten that. We are still waiting and waiting. Avoid this place at all costs.

So far we've stayed in the Peacock, Teal, Latte and French Country rooms. Once, we came with my parents , and we shared the Lyon House across the street. Each time, we have loved our visit. The hospitality is fantastic-I always feel like I'm staying with a great aunt that loves to take care of her family. Really, it's that good. We have done the Dine and Unwind package, which includes a delicious dinner and a couples' massage. Best experience ever! If you're looking for a special getaway, be sure to consider this. One of the best decisions I've made in a long time. It's set in an old church that's been renovated to have five rooms in the lower level, and we stayed in the King room. The first thing they said when we walked in was feel free to explore and make yourselves at home which we totally did. Vicki and her husband Craig were great and they took care of us even making us a nice breakfast in the morning before we headed out. Would definitely recommend staying here.
