We went here tonight to celebrate my daughter's 12th birthday. The food was excellent and the hosts were very gracious and accommodating. We played laser tag and the kids had a lot of fun! Pretty fun place and not bad priced! We went to check this place out with our girls. We mostly just came to play arcade games. Probably one of the best arcades I've been too. Tons and tons of different options of games. The only thing is it is a little tight where the games are. Lots squeezed into one little area. One thing I noticed is they were understaffed. It was pretty busy and I only say two workers. You could see they were busting there butts trying to run around everywhere but they definitely could have used a helping hand. Overall I'd be back. The food doesn't look to bad so maybe for the food and to try some of the other activities. read more

This place is fantastic! Tetris-shaped tater tots, the pizza is really good, the burgers are decent, but, let's face it, if you're here then you're here for the arcade, play-place, or the laser tag. The laser tag arena is very well maintained, clean, two levels, and it doesn't look like a last-minute paper-mache project some parent threw together for their child's art project. Everything is smooth, shiny, and I don't know if everything's new, but it certainly looks new. All of the arcade machines are like-new, all of the buttons work, and the tokens are actually super cheap. Service? Fantastic. I've always had amazing service here. The staff is great with both adults and kids, they're always friendly, and they always let you know how to get the best deals on tokens, laser tag, and meals. read more

WARNING: BAD SPACE PUNS AHEAD!!! I apollo-gize in advance The least this place deserves is a proton review. I don't know how they did it, but this space has atmosphere. Do not let the closely packed doors stop you! Or where it is (considering there's not a lot on that street of Pocatello, I thought the place was out of business, but I also passed it during launch time). It's alive and well. When I went again later that night, my nephew was like a Luna tick. I was getting a little astronutty myself. It looked like a million degrees of fun! You can get a value pack of 100 tokens for $20 (why they are not called Star bucks I'm not sure) which is pretty awesome because you save $5 that could totally go towards more tokens. My sister, my nephew and I went through $60 worth of tokens in 2 hours, but that was because those games are addicting. Especially one where you have to put the token in a slot to win a number of tickets (I don't remember what it was called, but it's next to the restrooms). Also, the wristband to play on the playground is $3.95. I'm not sure how much a party would cost, but if you have one coming up, you should planet there. The chicken nuggets weren't the best, and the sandwich can reduce some of its bread, but the pizza was out of this world! That's all I have to say about the food because we didn't order anything else, but the mothership looks like a challenger worth trying for any meteor (it's one pound of beef)! The real stars are the staff who are very Hubble yet nice people who know their way around the place. My sister lost a receipt of over 800 tickets. They went to infinity and beyond to look for it. Even when we took too long to decide on prizes, they had stellar patience and attitude which is essential when dealing with youths. I give this place all the stars in the sky out of 5 (which is estimated to be about 100 billion). If you ever find yourself in Pocatello, this is a great place! Unless you get addicted to the games, all you need for a night of fun and a largely delicious pizza is $40! read more

This place is a BLAST! We came through the area headed to Yellowstone and our family needed a break! We loved the food and we thought the pricing on everything was very comparable to what you would pay at any fun center. The staff was so cheerful and helpful with any and all questions that we had. Here was the email I received from Stacy M.: "I am very sorry to hear you didn't have a positive experience. One of our top priorities is cleanliness and customer service. We use the program SWAT to ensure a very disinfected facility and pride ourselves with huge portions and high quality ingredients in our restaurant. Our laser tag is a full 40 min session and we have token specials of 100 tokens for $20. I would love to hear about the experience in detail if you have a moment to please let me know. We value the thoughts of our guests. Please if you are in the area again let me know so I can make it a positive experience." Here's my update: "Well, I appreciate your response, to be sure. If you carefully read the review, you'll see that the point was that the whole Chuck E. Cheese's type system is one that is overpriced across the board. I'm sorry, but this place of yours doesn't distinguish itself. A person spends a ton of money and walks away with a few stupid prizes. 100 tokens for $20 isn't that fabulous, and that's the SPECIAL (i.e., not the normal). Even a recent positive feedback left here mentions the word "expensive." So, it's not just me. "As far as cleanliness, you tell me you use the program SWAT. What does it matter what program you use when the place is a mess and disorganized? I don't care what program it is, it doesn't work. Therefore, you haven't actually 'ensured a very disinfected facility.' Perhaps when you're not there they don't follow your SWAT program? Just a thought." read more

We love Outer Limits!! I drive from Utah and meet my sister who is driving from Blackfoot at Outer Limits. Our kids have a blast and play for hours on the jungle gym. Outer Limits is always getting fun new games and keeping things fresh and updated. Their food is awesome! We always eat here when we go. Even us two moms love to play the games. Great place for a birthday party, family gathering, play date, or to just spend a few hours being entertained. The staff is awesome too! My wife and I took our Granddaughter to Outer Limits and while the play area is not better than other facilities we found that the food was pretty good. Some of the food prices are higher than a sit down place but other things are less expensive. The wings have great flavor and are large pieces, the potato saucers are great! We will be going back and trying different foods and letting the granddaughter play. Overall a good place to go with a family. read more

The laser tag is expensive; but a very nice setup. My older kids had a blast. The play land is great for younger kids. Mini golf is pretty good. The arcade is okay. They did have an AAA member buy one get one free discount which was very nice. The kids have a good time; which is the reason we go, so all in all a very good fun spot! read more

We recently got to have lunch at Outer Limits Fun Zone and tried both their pizza and Broaster chicken. Both were great! Broaster chicken is a fried chicken that has been marinated overnight and then pressure cooker fried. The pizza is wood-fire pizza and has a crispy cracker-like crust. Both were great and we'll eat here again when we come to play with our kids. The staff is also top notch! read more

My kids absolutely love the place , my son's reward for good behavior often is , that I will take him to the Fun Zone.Personnel is always nice and friendly. Prices are affordable $20 for 100 tokens is alright , I mean when it comes to price it always would be nice if the whole world was a cheaper place etc., but I can not say , they are overpriced.Especially regarding the fact , that there are absolutely no competitors in Poky area. Areas of improvement : Maintenance could be a bit better , one of the little yellow cars was designed to have a pedal on a floor , which was missing yesterday same as a year ago etc. Food is great , simple , but tastes good.Last time we paid like $28 for 3 .That is not much The only thing, that could be better is the speed of service , waiting 20 minutes for burgers and fries with small kids could be challenging. Also an area for improvement : Why instead of collecting bunch of paper tickets and feeding them to the machine ease up the process and do it electronically, like some similar places do ? You know where the customer is simply given a card he inserts into machine each time he plays . So tonight my special needs child who has cerebral palsy was told she can't play in their play area anymore because only 9 and under and 44 inches are allowed to play there now. There is no sign for this age limit but she is over 9 years old, So she cried when she was told she couldn't play there anymore. We were just there last weekend so I'm not sure when this rule came about but the way they handled the telling sucked. I've been going there since I moved here 4 yrs ago and I have no plans to go back there if this is how they treat kids with special needs. read more

Cleanest indoor play! We've been going to Outer Limits consistently for 7 yrs. Our child has gone from playing on the lower level of the play gym, riding the little car, and the stomping spider game to navigating the entire complex and cashing in for big prizes. It's a place where grown ups can enjoy themselves as much as the children. A family can enjoy an afternoon spending as little as $5 per child. (Play gym and a drink or snack.) Our child started play at 1yr and continues to enjoy the activities at 8yrs. In addition to play gym and video games there is mini golf, laser tag, and candle pin bowling. The menu is worth stopping in for a quick quality bite. The food is fresh! We've enjoyed their chicken, pizza, burgers, salads, fries, and sandwiches. There is edibles for nearly everyone, to include: Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Paleo, Picky and Nut Free. The kitchen and dining area is clean, welcoming, and seating options are comfortable for a variety of needs. Outer Limits offers a variety of Party Packages. We've enjoyed birthday parties for our own and others, as well as team events. Prices vary, and we've received more than our money's worth each time. The customer service exceeds the standard expectations. Games are maintained and operational. Any queries, concerns, or quirks are quickly addressed and resolved. The staff shows honest interest in making one's visit worthwhile by offering tips and information. I recommend Outer Limits to almost everyone. This place is 100% my favorite place to take my son! First things first, I give service 5 stars. Pricing, 5 stars too. I was surprised how affordable it was to take him there ($7.50 for a wristband and a cup of tokens). Also, after comparing other places in town for b-day parties, I truly believe this is the most affordable and they offer the best accommodations. I've had his last 2 birthday parties here and I plan to have many more as long as my son wants to. I love that the b-day packages grow with age - right now while he's young he gets the play land package where all the kids get wristbands for the play area plus tokens for the game area, each kid gets pizza and a drink, and I also added the stuffed animal perk where each kid gets to choose an animal, put a heart inside, and help stuff it (like build-a-bear!). When he gets older he can do a miniature golf package, and in his teens he can do a laser tag package! Included in those bday packages, you have a host who serves the food, cake, and ice cream, does the clean up, and gives the kids fun activities. My son got 100 tickets and the kids get a group picture that we got to take home! It's definitely great for all ages, I even have fun there! Their restaurant is amazing too. I love their creative mixed drinks, finger steaks, bacon cheeseburger, appetizers, and well, everything on the menu! I could probably keep going on all the other great things this place offers! holy cow! i'm from out of state and admittedly find idaho generally melancholy, but outer limits fun zone is a pleasant beam of light in the darkness. my friends and i came looking for amusement and gratification, and we were not disappointed. amongst the participants this particular night, there were many of us that have, together, played laser tag in many different locales, and the experience is usually disappointing. at this point in life, we have our expectations set very low. there is so much promise and potential in the prospect of a game of "laser tag", and somehow hosts of this popular contest cannot seem to satisfy simple stipulations. but outer limits fun zone is different. i shan't elaborate the specifics of a typical round of laser tag here, but i will say this: the operations are diverse. the gameplay is engaging. the equipment is functional. the environment is captivating. the employees are humorous and cooperative. we left completely satisfied, and if we ever find ourselves in the area again, outer limits fun zone is a necessary rendezvous (pronounced "ron-day-voys"). read more
