They were happening after his b-fast & dinner & although the Vet INSISTED on Seizure meds & stated (with an attitude) that "food will NOT make a difference", I couldn't help but think that the food change could be bad & affecting him. I also read that low Taurine can cause the same issues in cats that mine was experiencing so I popped in this store, nervous & stressed, and the gent who offered to help me on a Monday morning, spent a great deal of time understanding what was going on, listening to my concerns with compassion & understanding, while being clear to state that he's not a Vet, he shared that Taurine comes from organ meat. I was ready to buy everything but he suggested to only make 1 change at a time to know if it's effective. He made a recommendation on food & treats w/organ meat and suggested to monitor & if all goes well, come back for a 2nd visit once we know the changes are effective to consider adding CBD, a multi supplement and wet food. I had a terrible experience with PetSmart Grooming and absolutely do NOT recommend this service…read more I took my dog in for a haircut and I completely understood that, depending on his coat, it might be necessary to shave him. That was never the issue. What I do NOT understand is why I was charged an additional $40 for "dematting" when there is absolutely no evidence that any actual dematting was done. His coat was simply shaved, apparently without any attempt to carefully work through or remove the mats. When I asked about the extra charge in person, the staff could not give me any real explanation beyond basically pointing to the invoice and telling me to pay it. I also contacted customer service by email, and the experience has been just as awful. I still haven't received a proper response, and we're now going into the third week. So I paid extra for a service that I don't believe was actually performed, received no reasonable explanation, and then couldn't even get a response from customer service. I will absolutely NOT be coming back to PetSmart Grooming. I'm taking my dog to Petco from now on. Save yourself the frustration and your money.

I found Erica from Wags to Whiskers, through a web search, and was very excited that she serviced the Kentlands. During the meet-and-greet, Erica took the time to get to know Kira and her routine and preferences. For example, Erica asked about Kira's favorite toys, and where she might hide. When I am away, Erica sends daily text updates and pictures, which puts my mind at ease. When I return home, Kira is happy and relaxed. The litter box is clean, and her food, and water fountain are full. Erica's reliable, attentive, and loving care make my trips much more enjoyable because I don't have to worry about the care Kira is receiving. I would definitely recommend her to other pet owners as Eric cares for Kira as if she were her own! And that is hard to find!
