I only come here twice a year for my two dogs birthdays. One bone cake can cost around $35.99 which is a lot but my dogs love it. The cakes my dogs love. They have a variety of different flavors. From what I remember they have cookies and cream and peanut butter. My dogs love peanut butter so I usually get that flavor. The small dog bone cake is pretty big and the large one is massive. The small would honestly be good for a couple small dogs or one large dog but if you have multiple large dogs, you should definitely get the large bone cake. One thing I will say is if your dog is highly allergic to certain things, make sure to check the ingredients list for their items. When you go in the bakery, they list the ingredients out and the staff can tell you too. I also love how they sell the cookies that are damaged or broken for a cheap price. A small bag of these is around $2 which is great if you don't know if your dog will like them. Staff here is great and there is parking in the back of the building. Overall, def must try if you want to get your dog a bday cake or a cute treat!

Unfortunately, my most recent experience has left me deeply concerned. My dog has allergies and can only eat bison and venison. After Petstron was out of bison for approximately two weeks, I purchased 20 containers when it finally became available again. Given the cost of the food and the trust pet owners place in companies like this, I never expected what I found. While preparing the food, I began finding sharp bone fragments throughout the meat. Because my dog is small, I always break apart the food before serving it. As I did, I found one bone, then another, and another. This was not just in one container. I found multiple jagged bone pieces in container after container. Concerned for my dog's safety, I spent so much time inspecting and removing what I could find. Despite my efforts, after eating, my dog began choking. It was one of the most frightening experiences I've had as a pet owner. Thankfully she recovered, but it was clear I may have missed one or two small pieces of bones and it had made its way into her food. What concerns me most is that many pet owners may simply warm the food and serve it without inspecting every bite. Had I done that, the outcome could have been much worse. Our pets are family. We trust companies that prepare fresh food to take the necessary precautions to ensure it is safe. Finding repeated sharp bone fragments in cooked food is not something any pet owner should have to worry about. I am sharing my experience because I believe other pet owners should be aware and inspect their food carefully. I would also be interested to know if anyone else has experienced something similar.
