I got all 4 of my reptiles from here, as well as regularly going back for my supplies. Let me tell you why this is a shop that truly cares. Firstly, the owner has years of with all different types of species. She also co owns a company that brings animals and animal education to schools and events. She gives back to the community, not only by taking in reptiles that can no longer be taken care of, but also offering children a place for volunteer and learn about different species and how to interact with them. There is only one other reptile shop in the near by area and they are profit based and rude. Often over stocking babies and younger reptiles, instead of helping displaced reptiles find a home and restocking only when appropriate cage sizes have vacancies. I have no idea why anyone would rate this shop lower than 5/5. I've been a loyal patron for a few years now, and truly couldn't have found my perfect babies without Riley and her team. My cornsnake was abandoned at Riley's door and was scales and bones. She took him in, helped him regain his weight, until I found him, took over his treatment and brought him to his forever home. Honestly CDB cares about their babies and yours. They care about placing their birds in good homes. I have never had a bad experience with ANY of the employees or owners here (except for a little over trimming on the grooming on very rare occasions) and I have been going here for 7+ years. I'm truly grateful for their care, grooming, and boarding. The people here really love birds. Maybe they don't like certain humans as well as the birds, but isn't that the way it should be at a place that gives birds new homes or takes care of them when you're out of town?
