4/19/2025 Our appointment was at 11:30am with Joe, Joe texts shortly before and asks to push the appointment back. We say sure how about early evening or Monday because we have lunch plans with family. He says it's ok let's keep our scheduled time of 11:30am. Joe arrives at 12pm. Although the appointment was with Joe - Joe handed his client to his brother!!! Haircut went until 1:30pm. Unfortunately my 12 year old son went without me otherwise we would have left long before 12pm. I think that Joe and his brother were unprofessional. They locked the salon's door (a small space inside of a larger salon rental hall) while giving a haircut to a 12 year old boy- I think that's weird. On top of that we think that the haircut is terrible and he added a line that was never requested - a photo was presented of the desired haircut. We think that it's incredibly disappointing because my son found Joe online and went to him a few weeks ago. We returned because of that experience. Bottom line - We think that Joe and his brother lack professionalism and are incredibly disrespectful. read more

Loved the haircut turned out a bit shorter than I had thought but i've been receiving nothing but compliments on how it turned out! Would recommend! If you're reading through the rest of the reviews about J's tendency to be late i wouldn't discount them but don't shy away from J because of it just pick a day with plenty of free time. My experience was In knocked on the door at my scheduled time to no answer and tried to find a phone number to contact, which i couldn't then a bit over an hour he reached out and was very polite. This barbershop is borderline a scam, address on the website is a residential home, Joey wouldn't respond to any messages or calls until I finally left a voicemail that I was canceling the appointment due to the fact that you can't find his location. Still felt the need to charge me for the full price of the haircut. Very unprofessional and does not care about customer service, sad. read more

He has cut my hair 6+ times and I feel I can now tell you the truth. Joey at the Barber's Throne is the BEST place I have been to. He major's in the minor details and does a fabulous hair cut and my goatee is perfect. he even went the extra mile and trimmed my eyebrows. BIG VALUE FOR ME IT THIS...... He can get me in about anytime possible. It like having your own barber at home. With my life & travel it is amazing to have a Pro like him be so personal and take care of his clients. Worst customer service. He is flat out inconsiderate of your time. You can book a time for your appointment but he won't respect it at all. He shows up late and keeps adjusting the time on you or cancels your appointments although he knows about them a week in advance. He is never on time at his own shop and wastes your time in the process. Don't go see this guy if you have anything important to do, because he will make you late for it. I visited him a few times and the experience went from ok to horrible. First time: 30 mins late. Second time: He was 30 mins late and had another customer who showed up after me go first, I assume because he did the same to late excuse to the previous customer. Third time: Wasted my morning and made an excuse to keep pushing the time back and I never got a haircut. I only stuck around because I had errands in the area. This guy is super unprofessional and doesn't care about his customers time. He will make you waste several hours and prove that your business isn't important to him. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I was essentially kicked out for sneezing and as someone who has allergies, I don't even notice when I sneeze. There was no greeting, no asking if I had been exposed to Covid, nothing. He asked if I sneezed and was then attacked for sneezing. I'm all for being extra cautious in this day and age, but human decency and etiquette still exists - clearly he has none and never did. I won't ever be returning to a place where I got treated worse than a dog. If he was that worried he should at least have a temperature gun. Crap service from a mediocre establishment. Update: He won't stop texting through the service now harassing me. He also went from saying I sneezed once to now saying I was sneezing multiple times. Get your story straight. Trust all of the other reviews. Don't go here. Time-wise this person is completely incompetent and doesn't care about your schedule at all. He cancelled on me multiple times where I drove there and sat there for sometimes up to 30-45 minutes waiting for him to show up. He would either pull a no show or he would show up very late. Honestly dude cuts hair decent but charged me $36 for a haircut that I cancelled. I scheduled the appointment for noon at 11:38pm the night before and text him at 7:13 am, 5 hours before my appointment, to cancel. Mind blown after coming home and reading the reviews... I'm glad I didn't read any reviews before making an appointment because I wouldn't have made one but trust me when I say you can't listen to everyone. This is by FAR without a doubt the most professional haircut I've ever had! The amount of detail this guy puts into his work is insane! Starting with cleaning his room after a client! He does a quick 5 minute deep clean of his room with like 4 different machines and makes sure it's spotless before you come in! Which is very impressive. As for the haircut. Best haircut I've had, period. Detail detail detail!! Dude checked, double checked and then rechecked to make sure he didn't miss a spot, Very thorough! I guess if you care about 10-30 minutes of extra time to wait (which I didn't experience or the person before me) then go to great clips but if you want literally the best haircut (or at least up there) you'll ever have then go see Joey. This guy is a wonder with scissors, best hair cut I have ever had. Joey is very meticulous about the detail. Very talented stylist for guys. Probably the best guys stylist in Denver. Can't say enough. You want your hair cut right. Go see Joey T. He is located in the Orchard Park Mall. He does not have a sign out front, just a small placard in the window. He has first made a appointment with me where he picked the time at 3:00 at 2:40 i see a text when im in the parking lot can we reschedule until 5 that day. I had a date at 5:00 as well but i pushed it back until 6:30 to get a cut, so 5:00 comes around i get to his shop and it seems like hes finishing up with someone so i waited and waited until 5:30 and he still hasnt said anything like "oh almost done". So i leave because i cant keep pushing my plans back for his inconvenience. After i left he said "you should have stayed i was almost done" i get it things happen but didnt even try to make up for his mistakes. I was asking him if he would come to me to cut my hair because i work 14 hours out of the day and im out here for a month or if he can stay a little late until i get off work but he dose not do that. read more
