This place is a neighborhood staple! We've been coming here for years, and it has the reputation of being the goto Barber for everyone around. It's always busy, and the barbers do a great job. Lucas always does an amazing job. He's been cutting my kids' hair for over 10 years! Today, we had Riley for the 1st time, and she did a great job on my sons cut and style! I'm sure this place is nice but let the younger people do your haircut! the old man inside was clearly high when he did my cut, completely forgot my haircut and proceeded to ask what I wanted again halfway through my cut!!! Poorly did my haircut the way I explained it to him and ignored my request to do my beard even tho I told him I'd pay extra for it. The people inside are really nice. I brought my 7yo little brother here and they were really good with him, made him smile and laugh while he was there and gave him a clean hair cut. Very enjoyable experience and at a lower cost than most salons. I believe the kids haircut is $20 which is AMAZING!!! they take walk ins as well! read more

So we have been coming to this location for I do believe a couple of years. The haircuts are well, haircuts. I do believe there are 8 chairs with from what I've seen, no shampooing available. This is what it states a "barber shop". The best time I've found to come is in the morning during the week. If you come on the weekend your going to wait and I mean wait!! They do offer specials during the week seniors and kids and something else that escapes me at this time. They do have one female that from what I can tell does all the design work and does it well if that's what your into. The walls are fitted with DC and Marvel items. For the most part all the barber's seem pretty accomplished in their trade and if you want conversation most are willing to engage with you. They do offer tv if you just want that. We as of late have had good results with Matt, and as of recent Annie. So give this place a shot , just be aware of the scheduling as this place does definitely get busy especially on the weekends. read more

I was going to let this slide as it happened about a week ago, but basically my boy Lucas (who's my main barber) was busy and I was in a rush so I was okay with going to the first available as I needed a small cut. Freddy I think his name was took me and all I told him was half an inch off the top, little did I know my hair is so fucked. Almost 3 inches was taken off and totally ruined the way my hair is growing back. Not saying he's bad, but he couldn't take just half an inch of my hair or texture my hair. Didn't give me what I wanted at all. It's my fault for not waiting for Lucas but you'd think I could get half an inch off by someone who cuts hair right? read more

I would even give it one star but you have to put something. Went in for the first time put my name on the list waited about 30 minutes. As people came in the started names on another sheet of paper. They kept calling everyone but me. I looked at the list and advised them that my name was on the bottom of the previous sheet. The guy at the first chair said we transferred those names to the new list. I sat back down after seeing my name on both and was next to be called. They called two more people. So I stepped back up to the counter. There was my name with two names crossed out after mine. I showed him again where my name was and that names had been crossed out after mine. While waiting for the ridiculous line at the DMV, I figured I had time to run errands. Seeing this place across the parking lot, I slipped in for a trim. Allison greeted me quickly and got me in immediately. She advised me not to go with as short of a cut as I had originally asked for. The hairdresser did not follow what I requested to happen. The length was uneven and I had trim my own hair at home to make it presentable. The place smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Although this place is cheap, it definitely was not worth it. 3 months later and my hair is so frizzy because the "thinning" technique was terrible. read more

I just moved to this side of town and I was looking for a new place to get my haircut as I am extremely particular about my hair. This review is of one barber not the whole shop. I didn't get the guys name but he had the chair in the back. He did an ok job on my fade but did a horrible job on blending it on the side of my part (left a bunch of hits long at the part when they shouldn't have been that long, they should have been blended. The part that makes me write this is that he trimmed my beard without asking me and without warning. I couldn't do anything to stop him because before I knew it he had trimmed the hair on one side of my cheek, on top of that he made my sideburns lopsided. I will never go back to this shop because of this guy. read more

I was referred here by people I trust. Had several great haircuts and thought I found my spot. But yesterday had the absolute worst haircut by the Asian lady , she had given me a great haircut a couple months before but she couldn't stop cutting this time. You can go back and ask for a redo if they don't cut enough but screwed if she cuts too much. I know there's not much of a choice for barbers in Thornton so good luck but can't recommend these guys. read more

The old guy I think his name was Al he fucked my shit up bad. I've never had such a bad haircut. The guy did more talking then cutting and when I asked him to line me up he only did one side of my face. And he messed it up. Waiting for my hair to grow back so I can leave my house. It's that bad. I asked for a taper and you can see the lines in between, he didn't fade it at all. I paid 20 dollars for a little bit of hair gone from my ears. Left the shop, sad, mad, and knowing that I'm telling everyone I know not to go here. Don't get me wrong when he was doing the cut he was super nice made me laugh and I was happy but when I saw the cut I told him to take more off and he touched my head probably 2 more times took the sheet off me and said your done. I wanted more off. But I ended up just walking away after I paid. Extremely sad because a buddy of mine told me to go here. And I will never be going back. Do not go here. read more

This is an excellent place for a fresh cut. X is my main guy he's awesome and knows how to fade perfectly. I do however have to say... The older gentleman in the back... I know he was in an accident bless his heart, messed up my hairline. One side is higher than the other and it looks pretty bad now... I would just suggest y'all check on homeboy to make sure he's alright and to ask before doing things such as lining it up. read more

usually really like this place, its very affordable and quick but this time my boyfriend went in and put his name down and we waited for about 45 minutes to an hour, usually we're leaving at this point so he went to check his spot in line and they crossed out his name with no call. when he asked about it they said they thought he already got his haircut and offered no solution other than to wait for everyone else that signed up after him which at that point was another hour wait. really disappointed with this experience since it's usually great. read more

This is what I would call a young Barbershop. The barbers however, have been cutting hair a very long time. I have never been disappointed by the "final product". My only complaint is that my hair grows back, but then I know I can go back and get another great haircut by great barbers. Floyd's barbershop seems to think that they can hire cute girls to cut hair, fact is, SOME might be cute, but they cannot give a good fade to save their life. I've gone to Floyd's and came out looking like I got into a fight with a set of dull clippers and a Tupperware bowl. Anyway, I highly recommend this barbershop, you will not be disappointed. read more
