I was tired of Floyd's cuts which have gone downhill over the years, so I looked up other barbers near by. I had driven by Rock Barbers a couple times but never even noticed it. It's a little off the street and their orange circle signage is inconspicuous so easy to miss. There's plenty of parking out front, and some reserved spots with clever signs. The inside is clean and quiet, and there's lots more funny signage to gander at while you're waiting. They don't have a set receptionist but you can reserve barber appointments on their website, each one has their own schedule and different prices based on the type of cut you're after. Single length buzzes are around $25 and more intricate cuts are closer to $40, on average. Tish is an absolute gem and can't recommend her enough. She's patient, takes her time to give a precise cut, will do exactly what you ask for, but will also give honest suggestions if that's what you are looking for. They might be a little more expensive than a Floyd's but I always leave Rock Barbers satisfied. read more

I walked in to the shop on a Saturday morning hoping for a haircut. I was told very kindly that both barbers were fully booked. I took the website info to book something and was about to leave when another barbers said "I can do it now". Incredibly nice people, first-class hob, and a terrific vibe. My new home for haircuts! read more

First time in, and I really enjoyed my experience getting a haircut. I didn't book a time and will not be making that mistake again. I got lucky and there was an opening within the next 30 minutes. I got to explore all of the signs and check out some of the beard wax and creams laid out for testers. My hair stylist listened to what I wanted and did a great job cutting my hair and making me feel welcome. Overall my experience was 10 stars, but Google only let me give them 5 stars. I think I'll be driving across town to Superior again the next time I need a haircut. read more

Website shows they take walkins and they also have a sign out front. Unfortunately not the case and I was told they could not give me a cut. Understand if that is your business model but it would make sense to not offer to take walk ins. read more

I've been getting my haircut at Rock Barbers for years. Friendly staff, clean, good conversation, wall decor is good for a laugh. Check it out! read more

This was our first time here and we had the best experience!!! Lyndsie and Kenneth were so fun to chat with! If we weren't moving out of state, we would definitely be repeat customers! Thanks, Kenneth and Lyndsie! You rock! read more

I was staying in Broomfield for a short term and needed a haircut. I friend recommended Rock Barbers and I made an appointment with Lyndsie. If I was staying permanently in the area, I would definitely go back to Lyndsie. She listened to what I was looking for, and she exceeded my expectations. The shop was bright and cheerful, which added positively to the experience. Lanny read more

Lived in the Lafayette/Louisville area my entire life and I just found this place last week. I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT!! This place is clean, the staff is friendly and scheduling and appointments was a breeze. Kenneth was my barber, and I will not be going to anyone else any time soon. He did a great job, cut my hair exactly how I wanted, trimmed my beard like a pro, and I felt great when I left. On top of that, he was a delightful person to talk to. I will be back every month for the foreseeable future. read more

It was my first time at Rock Barbers and got Kim as my barber. She was kind, funny, laid back and easy to talk to! No awkward handshakes, got in the chair and she got to work with asking what I was looking for. It made the experience more enjoyable for me. She made me feel as if though I was just catching up with an old friend. No pressure to purchase anything (though I am keeping this mind in next time to try some of their products), I booked online and my appointment was right on time. The website mentions that it is the last barber you will ever need: Rock Barbers is my new go-to! Give them your business! You will be happy you did. I do not know why I haven't ran across the barbershop earlier! read more

I went to Rock Barbers on Friday 5.25.18 my stylist was Tish. I had been going to another salon and she recently left so I was over do on a cut. I found Rock Barbers online and there were a lot of good reviews. I showed a photo of how I wanted my hair cut and she replied Oh cool we can do that. She got started and the said ok all done i looked and couldn't believe my eyes as It looked nothing like photo. I told her that she needed to try to fix it up a bit. She spent about 4 more minutes said she was done. I could not believe how it looked. It still looked nothing like photo. I probably should have talked to manager right then but, thought after I showered etc it would look better. Nope!! I am not happy with my hair cut at all. read more

I was that guy who settled... and I settled on my barber/stylist as well. Newsflash: supercuts or great clips or whatever gives you what you pay for... a shitty haircut. Beyond getting a great haircut (as good as I can get considering what's left), I always have a great time when I am there... the hospitality and atmosphere really makes this the "Cheers" of barber shops... complete with beer! My "person" is Wendy - I can't say enough good things about her. read more

Second time I've been here. The first time was great with Josie, but this time around with Wendy, YIKES! Her attitude was garbage from the beginning. I didn't hear her call my name in what I can only assume is her indoor, indoor voice. Finally, she came up and asked my name and told me "I've been calling your name." Then proceeded to roll her eyes and smack her gum. From there, I knew this was going to be awesome! She finished up and from the few glances in the mirror, I kept telling myself, "She's going to fix it, she's going to fix it." Wrong. It's supposed to be a fade, not a soft line. One photo is from the nightmare she considered a "fade". The other is from the 20min it took me and a couple mirrors to fix. read more

I usually go to to John or Wendy. They have amazing attention to detail and I never feel like they're rushing to get onto the next customer, even though they're often booked for all day. I have a ton of hair so it's not always an easy job, so I appreciate they take the time to make me look good. I used to rotate between like 4 or 5 different places trying to get someone who could tame my hair and work around my wonky head shape, but now I haven't gone anywhere else for like 3 years now. Important: Book an appointment in advance! read more

I had a really great experience for my first barber visit in either Canada or the United States. My Barber was fantastic and we had good conversations that I really enjoyed. Branding, Image, and complementary beer is an exceptional idea for a barber shop...it really sets the mood for all customers. You can also tell each barber is passionate about their work and carries the company image with high regard. I have to say...the bar has been set high for other shops to meet this type of customer service. If you live or visiting Denver or Louisville, it's worth the drive to go here. I strongly recommend trying this place for a well rounded barber experience. read more

The epitome of poor customer service! I needed a haircut for a funeral and looked online for nearby places. I saw Rock Barbers and I saw good reviews so I decided to try it. I walked in 10min after they opened and a woman working there asked me if I had an appointment. I told her "No I don't. Do you take walk-ins?" Her: "No. We're appointment only. We don't have an opening until 3." Me: "OK." Her "You can go online to book one." (I'm standing right in front of her at her appointment computer) Me: "Can I book it now?" Her: (Shows me computer screen with 3pm open) "Its only a 30 minute opening, that's not enough time." (takes out a card from the holder on the desk within arms reach of us both and tosses it on the desk which I placed back neatly and immediately and walked out) Out of all the places I can spend my money at and I chose your establishment and this is how I'm treated? No thank you. This woman didn't even asked me what I wanted. What if I wanted my head shaved? What if I just wanted a clean up on my neck? Or a trim? What if I didn't want my hair washed after and all that other junk? That wouldn't take the allotted 45 min they have to have to cut hair. She was just abrupt and rude. Needless to say I will never go back or endorse them to anyone. Just plain rude. I ended up going to a place closer to me and only paid $15 (then tipped her well for her exemplary customer service), had a wonderful barber and I was done in 10 minutes even with her (politely asking me to please wait while she checks them in) taking a minute to greet customers who came in. read more

Really great! I just moved back to CO and was apprehensive about finding a new person to cut my hair since it has taken multiple tries to find someone in the past. I did some research and tried Rock Barbers and can say I have found the place I will continue to go. I have worn my hair a bit longer for the last few years and just decided to cut it short again. Since this was my first time to Rock I originally thought I would just get a trim and try them out before determining if I could trust them with the more transformative cut. Once I got there I changed my mind and decided to go for it. I am incredibly happy with how it looks. Tish was amazing. She listened to my thoughts and gave me her perspective as well. Very cool. After she was done my new hair style was exactly like I was imagining it. I will definitely be back. read more

Due to a broken collar bone, I went to get my first haircut in 5 years. In the past, I've only trusted two people with my hair (yes, I'm that picky). Upon walking in the door, I instantly felt at home, and the owner, Anthony, and my barber, Sean, took amazing care of me during the whole visit. I will definitely be coming back to get my hair cut as I grow it out again. read more

I'm a long haired guy. Let's be straight forward, my hair and beard hang to my chest. I've never gone to the same barber more than once. Everyone looks at me like some kind of two times too small sized heartless grinch. BUT, here at Rock barber, I've been going to see Scott for years now. And for me, that's only once or twice a year, but I plan to go here for life. You won't be let down. Tell them what you want. They will do it. read more

I first started going to Anthony when he was working at a different local barber shop where I was impressed by the consistency and quality each time I went in. Anthony decided to open his own shop, Rock Barbers. Rock Barbers is clean, sophisticated and the service is top notch. If you need a quality haircut, go to Rock Barbers and ask for Anthony. Tell him Ian sent you! read more

I have been going to Rock Barbers for close to 4 years now, and I can't recommend this place enough. I have had a number of different people cut my hair because I always forget to book far enough in advance, but have been very happy with everyone. For the last few years I have made a point to always schedule with Kenneth and couldn't be happier. Great conversation and always a good haircut and beard trim! read more

Just got my third haircut here and they've been the 3 best haircuts I've ever had. I can't think of a single thing these guys could do better. read more

Anthony is a total rockstar. I've been going to Rock Barbers for about six months now and will keep coming back. If you're looking for a place with excellent cuts and where they know you by name, Rock Barbers is it. Also, the online scheduling is a great feature that takes the hassle out of appointments. And you can't beat draught beer from the in-shop kegerator, or the putting green while you wait. Man up! read more

I've gotten a lot of bad haircuts at various discount establishments, sometimes the haircut was good but the lasting rule was inconsistent results. Rock Barber always gives a great haircut, has beer on tap and is a pleasure to be at. If you want to get a great haircut and not feel like you're in a women's salon Rock Barbers is the place for you! read more

Love this place. Cool atmosphere and great people. Be sure to make your reservation online, it's fast and easy but know they fill up quickly. Ask for Tish, she does an amazing job! If you're in the Louisville/Superior area look no further than Rock Barbers. read more

This is my third haircut and beard trim with Tish. She's a friggin' rock star. Super talented at her job and makes the experience great with her personality. I half debated on writing a review about her because I don't want her schedule getting too busy to where I can't get in to see her anymore! Rock on, Tish! read more

Best haircut of my life. Jennifer absolutely nailed it. She is a genuinely sweet person too. I have gotten my hair cut all over the U.S. and some overseas, and this is #1 on my list...by a long shot. Was in Louisville from out of town and got recommendation at bar of local restaurant. So glad I went to Rock. Jennifer even sent me the details on how she cut it so I can use this information to find a new barber here in Atlanta. Amazing. The next time I am 100 miles from Louisville, you can bet I will be returning to see her. read more

Josie is both a fantastic barber and a wonderful person. I've seen her just about every month for the last 7-8 years (that's a long time, clearly she's awesome!). Within the last year, Josie moved full-time to Rock Barbers in Louisville, and I followed her from another shop in Boulder to Louisville. I'm glad I did! Before Josie, I got my hair cut from a different person every month, and that's just the way it was. But the first time she cut my hair, it was obvious that she was just a cut above everyone else (I know, how cheesy). We share a lot of the same Colorado interests (hiking, running, biking, generally ridiculous outdoor adventures) and have gotten to know each other very well over the years. I always enjoy catching up with her, and of course, I always look much getting up from her chair compared to when I first sat down. Like I said at the begining, she's both a great barder and a great person. In terms of Rock Barbers, I've been going there for about a year, and I like the place. It's the little things that count, such as using Square to pay and getting an emailed receipt. Yes, I know that it's the year 2015 and this isn't a new concept in technology, but it's still delightful when local businesses embrace new technology and the whole experience becomes easier. I can't recommend Josie enough (I'm a guy, but I'm sure she cuts lady's hair as well!), and Rock Barbers is also a very pleasant experience. Enjoy! JOEL GRATZ read more

The services and haircuts are great and are my preferred location. The online booking needs to be updated to permit guest appointments. Requiring one to set up an account and a new password just to make a hair cut appointment is really annoying and a turn off. read more

What Anthony and Rock Barbers doesn't know about current and classic men's style isn't worth knowing. Anthony has been cutting my hair for the past 3 years and I have never had a bad haircut. I'm not saying that Rock Bar is for everyone. If you want to get your flat top topped or your mullet permed this might not be the place for you, but if you want timely, consistent, high quality service in a great environment then give them a shot. I know I'll be back. They also take online bookings which is very easy and cool. read more

I was a walk-in - not sure which barber I had, but I got a haircut and beard trim. The haircut was OK, but the beard trim was pretty bad. He took a small out of my cheek with the straight razor, which will certainly be a big scab on my face and will probably scar. Then on top of that, there was no uniformity in the length of my beard trim at all. I'm going to have to go over it with my own beard trimmer, which kind of defeats the purpose of getting a beard trim at the barber (unless you want to get your face cut). I was polite and didn't make a scene (because what would that gain), so I just paid them and left. An hour later my face hurts all over and my cheek is still bleeding. Don't get a beard trim here. read more

Wendy is like a wizard, except for men's hair. I've stopped going to anyone else.

Had the worst haircut I have ever had, from the tall guy with a goatee, late 40s early 50s I believe his name is Scott. His styling was terrible a d he gave me two painful cuts in the back of my neck. He did not charge me as he saw how disappointed I was, however money is never the issue when you are getting a hair cut, i had to wear a hat for three weeks before i was able to get the cut corrected. read more
