We say sure how about early evening or Monday because we have lunch plans with family. He says it's ok let's keep our scheduled time of 11:30am. Joe arrives at 12pm. Although the appointment was with Joe - Joe handed his client to his brother!!! Haircut went until 1:30pm. Unfortunately my 12 year old son went without me otherwise we would have left long before 12pm. I think that Joe and his brother were unprofessional. They locked the salon's door (a small space inside of a larger salon rental hall) while giving a haircut to a 12 year old boy- I think that's weird. On top of that we think that the haircut is terrible and he added a line that was never requested - a photo was presented of the desired haircut. We think that it's incredibly disappointing because my son found Joe online and went to him a few weeks ago. We returned because of that experience. Bottom line - We think that Joe and his brother lack professionalism and are incredibly disrespectful.

So I decided to try Floyd's again after some years and scheduled an appointment online. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, it felt like I was a bother - not one of the "regulars." There were three barbers working at at that time and they would look at me, then at each other. I even watched the barber in front of me deliberately take on a task so he would not have me as his next appointment. A woman in the back took me as if she drew the short straw. I explained the haircut I wanted (razor cut with a messy vibe). The whole thing was rushed and the haircut I got was nothing like what I asked for. When I got home, my 15 year old son commented how bad it was. It's a shame that they weren't willing to even try.

Awesome barbershop/salon with a positive, family-friendly vibe! The lady who cut my hair was actually the owner and she was so friendly and welcoming, in addition to providing a great cut. (I'm a female with a long-layers cut. The name is Barbershop but when I called to ask before going in, they said they do all sorts of cuts and styles - men/women/children/coloring/highlights/shaves etc.). My stylist listened to my vague explanation of what I wanted and expertly translated it into a cut I'm really happy with. She also took the extra time to show me how to curl my new layers to really make the cut pop. Coupling all that with super affordable prices, I am very satisfied with my experience. While chatting with my stylist, I found out that this is the second salon her and her husband have opened (the other one is in California). They just moved to Colorado and are hoping to repeat their success here. It sounds like they have a lot of experience to draw on, and the caliber of the haircut and the pleasant ambiance of the shop really showed it. I've never been the type of person to get regular haircuts and consistently go to the same salon/stylist, but I will definitely give A+ Barbershop another go. Happy to support a family-run shop that delivers great results! read more

I moved to Westminster a year ago and went to three barbers that jacked my hair up. But I found A+ Barber and it's been heaven every since. When I first met Trish I was hesitant about letting her cut my hair and I remember to this day Trish telling me if you don't like your haircut when I finish you don't have to pay. WOW, did she make a believer out of me. I was impressed and have been going to A+ Barber every since and gained a friend as well. Great barbers and atmosphere. My husband and I decided to give this barbershop a try because it was conveniently located right…read morenext to other places we frequent. We decided to give them a chance as they didn't look terribly busy and they were welcoming upon entering. The barber did a decent job the first time, so we decided to make an appointment to come back for a follow-up haircut, that was a mistake we still regret to this day. I had an appointment scheduled at 2 pm with Zayn (A PRE-PAID scheduled appointment might I add, you have to pre-pay in order to book an apointment which at the time I thought was odd... why would you pay for a haircut WITH TIP before even getting the service done? Red flag number 1 that I foolishly ignored) We arrived 15 minutes prior to our appointment as we were trying to be respectful and uphold to the PREPAID appointment time. He had a client in his chair so we decided to take a seat and patiently wait for him to finish, again we were early so that was fair. Upon waiting for him to finish we were uncomfortable in the waiting area, there was very loud vulgar music playing, people eating snacks, and conversing very loudly. It looked more like a frat house with a bunch of "dude-bros" just paling around. We sat and waited 30+ minutes PAST our appointment time, we were 1 minute from walking out. The only reason we waited that long after our scheduled appointment was because again, we already paid AND TIPPED this person, if we walked out we would've been out that money as they stated "NO REFUNDS" (I can see why now...) As we we were getting ready to leave he finally finished with his other "client". But here is the kicker, that "client" got up from the chair, went back to the restroom, and came out in an aapron and proceeded to cut someone else's hair. IT WAS AN EMPLOYEE. So he had paying customers sitting on the couch waiting well past the scheduled appointment time so that he could line up his buddy. That was completely unprofessional and honestly an insult. RED FLAG NUMBER 2 I UNFORTUNATLEY IGNORED. So we reluctantly stayed for the (prepaid) haircut. While he was cutting my husband's hair the barber was visibly distracted and talking to all of his buddies in the shop rather than paying attention to him. When he asked him what side he wanted to be lined up on my husband told him twice, he then proceeded to put a towel over his face so he couldn't see what was happening. Upon removing the towel my husband sees he is lined up on the WRONG SIDE. RED FLAG NUMBER 3! 3 strikes this is ridiculous. Once he noticed that, he felt like if this was being half-assed, what else was being over looked? So he asked him if he had used a new blade on him as he did not see him grab a new one. He said "Don't worry bro I got packs of these" I am hoping he was being honest but at this point I wouldn't put anything past this place. Needless to say, we will NEVER return to this barbershop, and buyer beware! Do not book an appointment ahead of time, that is how they guarantee they get paid regardless of the quality of the cut they give you. This whole place feels like a bunch of young people with no experience in professionalism or customer service. This is unfortunate because I pass by this place every single day as I am a local who lives close by, but I will have to find a place that takes their customers a little more seriously.
