Nice hair cut. Maria did a great job, funny too. Easy reservations, relaxing environment.

Roosters has been renames to Rocky's Barber Company and is under new management and ownership. I have been going to them for many years and they totally rock. Great atmosphere, wonderful employees and a great value for the price. Highly recommend to anyone needing a hair cut, beard trim, color job, etc. read more

Garret is the man. Took care of me on the day of my wedding and now he has me as loyal customer for as long as live in the area. Best haircuts I have ever gotten. Consistently he gives great haircuts and I recommend him to all my friends. Garret you rock! read more

Rocky's Barber Company - Barbers Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

See all

This was my second cut at Roosters with Garrett and I've never been loyal to a barber until now. I won't see anyone else. It's affordable, he's really skilled, and he's an easy going conversationalist. I write very few reviews but Roosters and Garrett have earned it for sure. Thanks guys! read more

Rocky's Barber Company - Super happy with my cut! - Barbers Near Me - Arvada, Colorado

As you read through the reviews you'll see why Garrett is my guy. I do not need to say more. ahh-ee!

Walked in 32 mins before close and was turned away despite there not being a single other customer

I've been going there for almost 5 years (do the math on the $ I've spent there) and today I was given the worst hair cut that I can recall ever having. Uneven. Not cleaned up. Splotchy (if that's a word). It was so bad and took so long that on a few occasions when she asked how it was and I said to shorten this or clean that or what about this, I almost said that I'd it (somehow) when I got home. Barber was nice but I wasn't paying for entertainment or comany. I was paying for a specific service. I tipped (from Vegas... you always tip) but it's highly unlikely that I'd ever set foot in there again. read more

Never have I ever entered and left a barber shop so quickly. Blonde lady at the desk today was extremely rude and did not want any part in cutting my hair today apparently! But I get it, we can't all be happy all the time. Maybe she had a bad day. That being said, left there and went to A+ Barber Shop 2 minutes away and got a killer cut! read more

The hallmark of a good business is how they resolve problems. Sadly, Roosters fell far short. I've been a regular customer here for quite some time, not only getting haircuts and beard trims but also buying my hair care products here. My haircut is about as basic as you can get: A buzz cut, same length over all. In the past I've been satisfied and have enthusiastically recommended the place to friends and family. Monday, I went in for a cut and at the end I thought it looked a little odd, but could not put my finger on what it was. But the lady who did the cut sent me out with my hair soaking wet (in past experience that's always been a sign of trying to cover up a bad cut). It wasn't until I was home and my hair was dry that I realized what the problem was: The hair on one side of my head was 2-3 times as long as the properly cut hair on the other side. I was disappointed but not upset about it. WIling to accept the mistake in balance of all the good haircuts I've gotten there (although unless you're going to a cheap joint like Fantastic Sams, shouldn't you expect a good cut every time?). So I went back today, showed them what the problem was, and asked for a quick trim to correct it. I was told they were very busy, and I'd have to wait about 40 minutes. Okay, so I'd wait. It wasn't until I had been there for 40 minutes and saw that they were taking people who had reservations ahead of me that I became aggravated. I wasn't just a regular walk-in. Correcting an obvious and glaring mistake should have been a priority, something the business' reputation stood on. I left at that point, and paid good money to get a proper haircut at another place. Roosters, you lost a long-time customer today over an issue you could have easily corrected. read more

Don't Count on an "Appointment Time." Given that I had 1.5 hours between meetings, I figured I would pre-book and "appointment" for a haircut. What a joke. 15 min drive to this location, arrived a little early and was told that my (pre-booked) barber would be right with me. 30 minutes later, no sign of any barber even close to being finished (prolonged social chatting with customers) so I had to leave without a haircut. Walk-ins had even worse luck. read more

I was a regular here, and a new lady tried to cut my hair and she was so rude I walked out. plenty of better places to get a haircut

I called in earlier today to ask if they had any openings. They had me make an appointment @ 6:30. I thought perfect I have dinner plans at 7:30! I sat around there for a half until the manager came to talk me. She offered my cut for free but I would have to wait. It would have been nice if she offered to cut my hair but that option never came up. I got to go to dinner with my hair looking all bushy and a mess!! Thanks Roosters!! read more

I have been going to this Roosters location for about 3.5 years now! My Barber Racquel is always so friendly and she does an amazing job. The entire staff are always extremely helpful and social. They crack jokes and make it a very positive environment. I feel that pricing is very fair considering the quality of treatment I get and it's definitely a step up from the places I would go before. Would recommend to any guy looking for a masculine upbeat place to get a haircut! read more

I didn't think it would be possible to give my receding hairline a haircut that wouldn't make it stand out, but Garrett made it possible. Friendly staff, clean place, and modestly priced. read more

Garrett was AWESOME! Sat in the chair and he already knew what to do. Least explanation I've ever had to give and he did a great job-not too short, not too long like every other barber we've been to. Also shaved the beard down to a goatee. 1st experience with a shave and it did not disappoint :-D. Walked out looking and feeling great; ready for spring. Laid back atmosphere, good mix of magazines. Staff was welcoming and attentive while we waited for our appointment (we were a little early). Little pricey, but the pampering and getting it right was worth it. Will be back read more

Highly professional, very friendly they have a nice interior and for the price compared to others they are worth every penny! I'm all about customer service and my expectations were blown away by roosters! Also neck trims are a bonus in between appointments. I've found a barbershop that I feel comfortable with! Roosters you've gained another long term customer today!!! read more

Great place if it's your first time. Quick, excellent haircut. $37 for my next visit...I'll probably pass.

I walked in and asked if they were familiar with the textured quiff, the lady said yes, I let my hair grow for this, when she was done it was not what I had wanted, I walked out with a high fade and short hair on top, the quiff is longer hair on top and shorter towards the back with a tapper fade, she didn't seem to care, horrible customer service! read more

I stumbled upon this place after moving here from Ohio and I couldn't be happier. Garrett is AWESOME! I won't go anywhere else!

Had slight hiccup with first appointment but upon my second appointment I had one of the best encounters. I was truly cared for on a personal level and given a great haircut and experience. They really care for each customer and I am very impressed with the level of care and respect. read more

Called in advance to set up an appointment. Set for 1pm. Which worked great. Loved the vibe. Nice wood, good atmosphere. Vintage clippers. Felt welcoming. Got a head shave and beard trim. The fading was great, I left very satisfied, however after I got home they missed a massive section under my chin. After fixing it I then noticed a lot of un-evenness between one side and other. Overall it was good. For the price, that big of a miss should not have happened. read more

I love the dedication to keeping people spaced out, the lobby has been blocked off. The customer service was nice I'll definitely return.

I've been going here for about 6 years and always return. My absolute favorite barber shop. Super friendly and skilled staff. Definitely recommend read more

Racquel is an artist with scissors and clippers, and a surgeon with a straight razor! Best shave ever! The only place I go. The only place I trust. I wish I could get a shave every day, a beard trim every other day, and a haircut every week! #Style #SmoothAsABabysButt #RacquelIsARockstar read more

You shouldn't advertise that you're "walk-in" and then when someone walks-in for a child's haircut tell them "You'll have to come back in an hour and a half." Clearly this place can't keep up with the demand and they don't know how to fix that but don't advertise that you're a walk-in barber shop when in reality you're appointment only. I should also note that the woman at the front desk specifically said "Did you make an appointment online? We prefer you make appointments." That's fine but like I said, don't advertise and say you're "walk-in." read more

I went to this place because it was close to my house. I got my hairs cut by Erica who was awesome, she was very friendly and a little nerdy (in a good way). The decor was awesome and so were the chairs. Erica did a wonderful job of answering my questions and helping me get the haircut I wanted. The cost for my simple haircut was very pricey, $27 to cut all my hair off with a buzzer. The customer service was impeccable and worth the $27. I plan to return for my next haircut. Thanks Erica. read more

I had an amazing experience at Roosters. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I had an appointment with Angelica, who gave me a great cut, a very relaxing shampoo and lots of hilarious conversation. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great men's cut. read more

This place is great, really great but when your beard is cut way more than you want it. Damn that'll piss you off. Amanda was great and the service was the best above every place I ever been. I wanted a beard trim. The little end of the hair slightly to be trimmed. She essentially cut all my growth leaving the chin hair way longer than the sides. You have to understand a man's beard is nothing to joke with. I will be back to get another haircut but my beard shall never be touched again unless by the hands of the beard God's. read more

First time in there, love it, love how great all the people there are especially Erica!! She fixed my hair disaster lol. Got offered a beer while I waited, which turns out is free, decided to for with a water seeing as it was only 1200 noon haha. read more

I was impressed for my first time going. My haircut was professionally done, and the staff was friendly. I would be happy to go back.

I started going to Roosters mainly because of how close it is to where I live. The name of the place is strange to me...but what's in a name? I found Courtney right away and I have never been disappointed. She is super quick, listens to what you want, and is a very fun person to be around. I'm quite picky about how I like my hair to look, and it took her about 2 times to achieve perfection! (Not that the first time was anywhere close to bad!) read more

Very welcome friendly staff. They prefer appointments but will squeeze you in. Felt like a place for men to relax and enjoy a little pampering. They also give free beer! read more

This was my first visit to Roosters. It was amazing, to say the least. I've never had such service offered to me for a haircut. This place knows how to treat a man. First off, it's decorated with rich wood and leather all tied together very tastefully. It appears that only women work here... another bonus. My stylist was named Nikki. She offered me a cold beverage and proceeded to inquire about the kind of style/service that I was looking for. Apparently, they also do full facial shaves. I received an excellent haircut and shampoo/scalp massage. It was a treat, to be sure. Did I forget to mention the hot steamed towel they put on your face while you are getting shampooed and conditioned? I was in such bliss at this point that it all was a blur! All I know is that it felt great and my hair looked great. Thanks Nikki. read more

This place is seriously hit or miss, sometimes you get phenomenal service sometimes it really sucks. Supposedly there are quite a few things included with the haircut, rarely do you get them all. The one perk for sure is that you occasionally will get a beer while waiting. In terms of the haircuts, they have all been pretty good quality and what I requested. I will continue to go there for haircuts. They are busy though so call ahead. read more

I recently moved to Westminster from South Littleton and didn't want to drive an hour and half round trip to see the girl I used to go to so I thought I would give this place a try. Brandie was excellent!! She was very personable and my hair looks better than ever. The price is steeper than other places but great service and nice atmosphere. The neck shave, hot towel treatment and scalp message to finish makes it a great experience. I would highly recommend. only negative was the stylist in the other booth was talking rather loud. read more

Garrett is the man. He's cut my hair 3 times now and each experience was a great one. He really strives to understand what you are wanting in a hair cut and also offers recommendations based on his experience. He gave me my first hard part! Roosters is a bit more expensive than other barbershops but the free neck trims between appointments make it worth it. read more

This was my second time in an I had a number of issues. I chose to go to Roosters because I mistakenly associated their higher prices with more experience barbers, which was clearly not the case. First off, I had to explain to my barber (not actually sure she was a barber) what a taper fade was several times. I was then surprised at the end when she asked how I wanted my neckline. There shouldn't be one on a taper fade. During my time in the chair one employee said to another "hurry up I've got places to be", while she was still cutting a customers hair. After that customer left the two employees started loudly complaining about that customer's girlfriend and how demanding she is with his hair. I let the girl cutting my hair know that her clippers were just ripping out my hair. I've felt one or two hairs get pulled during a normal haircut but never CONSTANT pulling. When I let her know she sprayed some lubricant on them and went back to cutting my hair. She immediately pressed the clippers against my head and I could feel a bunch of the lubricant running down the side of my head. Not a great feeling. I usually go to a skilled barber because of their knowledge of head shapes and proper beard shaping techniques. Instead I had to repeatedly guide the person cutting my hair as she seemed really unfamiliar. In the end the haircut isn't terrible but it's far from what I would expect for such a high cost. I won't be returning to any of the Roosters chain as it's clear their standards for employment are lower than I expected. read more

I've had most of the stylists give me a cut. Top notch everyone of them. A bit pricey but well worth it. 20 times better then Floyd's

The most wonderful haircut of my life. I'll never go anywhere else! The nicest people, incredibly comfortable enviorment, the workers have mad skills and put a ton of care into your cut. I'm recommending them to everyone I know read more

I happened to see some of the reviews so I figured I should add mine. I have been going to Garrett for about 4 months now and really like how my hair style has evolved. At the suggestion of my wife I came to Roosters for the first time and chose Garrett mainly because he was a man. I had gone to several women at two different salons before and was not happy. Garrett seemed to understand the direction I was going and I have been happy ever since. My wife liked the style from the beginning. And oh by the way, Garrett is a true professional and I always enjoy the visit! read more
