Doctor appointment on Sunday at 3 1/2 hours before my appointment.They offered another barber who could see me 15-20 minutes after my original appointment time. Since it was my wedding day and I had no realistic chance of finding another barber at the last minute, I had no choice but to accept. I was assured that the replacement barber was experienced, but the service I received did not reflect the level of experience I had been promised. He was late for my appointment , struggled with both the haircut and the straight-razor shave, and took approximately 20 minutes just to trim my beard in preparation for the shave. After about 30 more minutes of unsuccessful attempts with the razor, I finally asked him to finish with an electric machine. I was supposed to leave the shop by 2:00 p.m. so I could arrive on time for my wedding photography appointment. Because the replacement barber was late and the services took much longer than expected, I was late for my wedding pictures. This added unnecessary stress to an already very important day. Unfortunately, I also received one of the worst haircuts I have ever had--on my wedding day. I will not name the replacement barber because I believe the shop is responsible for assigning someone who was not properly prepared to provide the services I had booked. I chose this business because of its strong online reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Canceling my selected barber on the morning of such an important appointment, providing a late replacement, and assuring me that he was experienced when the service suggested otherwise was unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business or consider it reliable.

When trying to explain what I wanted I rotated the chair towards the mirror so I could see what I'm showing. Alec The Barber snapped and rather impolitely told me to keep my feet on the stand. I said, ok fine, sorry, any specific reason I can't rotate chair so that I can see in the mirror what I'm showing to you? He said: mirror is not for you, it's for me, chair is not for you to rotate, it's for me to rotate, and I will not cut your hair today. And then he started basically yelling at me. Another barber said: from now on we will refuse service to you because of the incident. It's past 5pm. I have an event tomorrow morning that I needed the haircut for.
