But I keep coming back because I get good haircuts there. The key to that is Jose, who is probably the best barber I've encountered in my 4+ decades. I like to call him 'The Professor', because he really is both a student and a master when it comes to hair. He's given great advice on adjusting my look when I've needed it, and always executes cuts efficiently and to perfection. It's worth calling with a day's lead time and requesting an appointment with him specifically (although I've also had numerous good cuts with other stylists). It's the day before my wedding and Anthony jacked up my beard. He cut my neck line in a V pattern, trimmed the sides down too low to the point it almost looked like a chin strap, cut into my mustache, squared one side of the beard and rounded the other. All of this THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING! Then he had the nerve to try to charge me for the beard trim!
