Went there to get a simple fade before thanksgiving... worst quality haircut I've ever gotten. They had a new African American barber cut my hair and the guy wasn't paying attention at all and watched the office the whole time. Wouldn't have had an issue with that if he new how to actually cut hair. Ruben the main guy knows how to cut but his employee's definitely don't. Would only recommend based on the cheap price point but that comes with a high risk of a bad cut. It was just a simple skin fade and they cut my hair uneven on the top and was so choppy on the fade. Vibe is relaxed but they could make it look more organized for sure. read more

I've lived in the area for over 15 years and originally juggled barber shops until I found Ruben, originally in Gillette but now in Chatam. Word of mouth from some of my guy friends made me try it out, and I haven't gone anywhere for a cut in the area since! Rubens a great guy with some serious skills in both simple and complex cuts for guys old and young. He gives the best shave, even compared to places in NYC that charge an arm and a leg for one. Possibly the worst haircut I've had. I asked for a 2 to 3 fade and the barber just cut around the sides with a 3-there was no fade. No more than 10 minutes were spent cutting my hair. Then, I get home and look at it in the mirror only to find there were patches of hair longer than the rest. It was a lazy haircut and I will not be back. read more
