Every time after haircut, I was washing my hair with an antifungal shampoo and a special salt for about a week, as I often felt that I was slightly infected. I started to see less and less clients in the hair saloon and during my last 3 visits I saw no clients before or after me. When I came to see Steve in April, I saw that all his tools were wet and I thought that they were already disinfected, but apparently it was not the case. I got a very strong fungal infection, and in order to get rid of it, in addition to the antifungal shampoo and a salt I had to use antibiotic cream (got it from dermatologist) for 2 weeks to eliminate the infection (lab test).

I had gone to this shop a handful of times and always came out with a good cut and beard trim, but…read morethis last time ruined everything. It's the day before my wedding and Anthony jacked up my beard. He cut my neck line in a V pattern, trimmed the sides down too low to the point it almost looked like a chin strap, cut into my mustache, squared one side of the beard and rounded the other. All of this THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING! Then he had the nerve to try to charge me for the beard trim! Not to mention while he has the straight razor in hand and near my neck they allow a person to come in with a full size dog and let it run around the shop. This place is a joke. Stay away!!!!

Although appointments are recommended thru "BOOKSY" I chose to walk-in, I was greeted by William who assured me he could accommodate my request for a Scissor Cut. After a few moments in the chair I found William to be very professional and skilled in his trade after he recommended a slight and modern update to my outdated style. I agreed with William's suggested update which was really something my family had been encouraging for quite a few years. In the end I walked out a very happy customer with my new style! The shop is well organized and clean while the staff is attentive and customer centric! JC's Barber House is family friendly while specializing in Men's grooming services! BTW - Pricing is very reasonable for the quality of services and professional attention to each client! I will return and am very satisfied with my visit today.

For me, the main reason to choose this place were the skill of the barbers, availability and their club. The club is great, because it gives you unlimited haircuts fir the month, and it's super easy to cancel if you need to. Having access to it, let's me get a haircut every other week, rather than every week, which makes it so that my hair always looks good, and so that I can get a trim before any important occasion (like a wedding, important meeting, or date night with my wife). I highly recommend this place if you need availability, and have a hard to book barber, or no preferred barber.

Fast forward, 11 years and I still had not found a replacement for her after moving to the burbs until I met Sammy at Kennedy's. I was super skeptical to try yet another barber and be unhappy with my cut. I was introduced to Sammy through a buddy of mine in town and during our first meeting he did not disappoint. Sammy walked through his professional advice on how to cut and style my hair to make it look thicker. (The magic words any man over 35 wants to hear). He asked a ton of questions, took his time, and gathered my feedback at every step of the way. That's a home run if you ask me. If you're looking for a chill spot to hang with other dads in town...well when there's no pandemic...then Kennedy's is that place.
