I heard a lot of GOOD THINGS about JC's Barber House and decided to try the shop without an appointment. Although appointments are recommended thru "BOOKSY" I chose to walk-in, I was greeted by William who assured me he could accommodate my request for a Scissor Cut. After a few moments in the chair I found William to be very professional and skilled in his trade after he recommended a slight and modern update to my outdated style. I agreed with William's suggested update which was really something my family had been encouraging for quite a few years. In the end I walked out a very happy customer with my new style! The shop is well organized and clean while the staff is attentive and customer centric! JC's Barber House is family friendly while specializing in Men's grooming services! Full disclosure, I've been good friends with Joel since 8th grade, and that's important to note because the guy who always greets you with a smile and positive energy is the same kid I met in 8th grade. Unfortunately I have no hair left to cut, but I live vicariously through my son, who refuses to go to any other barber. Great shop, great customer service, Great atmosphere, old school feel, new school technic, male pampering, barber (Joel) has to be the best fader in the business I've been getting haircuts of all types for a long time and his fades are the best I've noticed. Ive been coming to this barbershop for almost a yr and let me tell you this place is a prime example of all of the above!!!! I downloaded yelp literally to write this review bc if you ask me its the little things that count and the people in this barbershop go above and beyond which needs to be highlighted in my opinion. So two weeks ago i went into the barbershop on a sat around 1pm thinking i would have a long wait but i was in need of a cut bc i was going on vacation on monday; I asked the barber hw long and he told me i had 4 people ahead of me (not bad). I then got a call and had to leave, the head barber said he will keep my place in line (great). Bad thing is i couldnt return on time smh, so i called the barbershop and spoke to the head barber and he told me everyone was basically out the door. !!!Finally!!!!! a true symbol of the American dream comes to light where you feel like family. They never forget how I like my hair cut every time I go, you are warmed with a genuine humility as soon as you walk through the door. The prices are also a steal ,much cheaper than any other high end barbers and a big T.V. to get lost in to boot. Parking is super ample due to the HUGE parking lot right in front of the place. Would not recommend, the barber who serviced me spoke terrible english, and did not listen to, or understand a thing I said. He only trimmed the hair on the sides of my head and left the top pretty much untouched. I had to pay for another haircut from a different place immediately after. Would not recommend. read more
