My husband always goes here for his haircuts. After moving from North Jersey, to Central/Northern Jersey, he needed to find a new barbershop. He tried (at least) 10 Different places until he had his 1st appt at Stache. From then on, this was his go-to barber shop. He does not have a specific barber cut his hair (yet), but, everyone he's had, has always done a great job! His hair is VERY thick & difficult to work with, especially since he likes a very tight fade at the bottom, and length at the top, (which requires a LOT of product). The barbers show him how to style his hair, and what products to use at home and I love that!
Being in the Cosmetology industry myself, I certainly know the difference between good, mediocre, and bad customer service, (which is important between a client & barber). The Stache Barbers have excellent customer service skills, and excellent barber-ing skills, (of course).
Of course, wives can be the "leader" when it comes to their husband's style - so, sometimes I'll give him a picture to show the barber (because I don't want to be the annoying wife that's actually @ the barber shop lol), and he always comes home looking like the picture! Well, better in my opinion - but, he is my husband .
I know that Stache Barbershop take their clients seriously, get to know them, have fun while they work, and do an amazing job! What more can you ask for?!
Oh, and if you wish to get your haircut here, PLEASE BOOK AN APPOINTMENT IN ADVANCE! They book up VERY quickly - so, if you have any event coming up, or know you need a haircut every 3 weeks, or whatever - try to book as many as you can in advance, (ESPECIALLY if you have a preferred barber!). This will save you a lot of stress! Also, worst case scenario, if the day/time you booked in advance doesn't end up working for you, just call as soon as you find out and reschedule it. Men NEED haircuts on a regular basis - more so than women. Worst case w/ women is that we get split ends & have to cut off more than if we didn't put it off. With men, that "in between" look, just isn't fair to anyone.
Book your appointments, (or your man's appointments, like I do), at least a week before they need it (especially if they go to a specific barber), because the way a man wears his hair, is one of the few things a man can do to "style" himself in a "manly" way. & a great haircut goes a long way! Even if he's wearing sweat pants & a plain white tshirt. read more
