These guys are great at what they do. You book an appointment so you get to skip that hassle of walking in and waiting. But if you're in a hurry you can stop by and discuss doing a walk in with them too, very flexible team. Cut is always clean too, they use hot towels, straight razors, the whole nine. I know it's compelling because there's a lot of new barbers in the area, but truth be told, most of those barbers started at in the cut first and then opened their own gigs, I've seen this with my own eyes through the years ‍ had to mention that just so yall know who the OGs are in the area. They got my money, because the experience and cut is unmatched. Lowkey I feel like the experience has corrupt men cuz I enjoy it so much I actually can't go to another barber lol definitely pay them a visit, you won't regret it

I get my haircuts from Joseph. Every time i get my haircuts i feel like a new man, a fresh man,…read morelike i can face the world without fear. Joseph is very professional. You tell him how you want your hair done and he gets the work done on point (literally, because i get my sideburns pointed, and they are sharp every time, like i can stab people with it). The shop itself is inviting. The environment has a rustic feel that give positive vibes. The prices may be expensive, but it's quality that you're paying for. The major differences between TWD (the Wolves Den) and other barbershops are the skills of the barbers. The techniques they use to get your hair to 'fall down' a certain way so that you don't have to pay much attention to your hair but still look 'clean' will get you that end result every time. It's difficult to find a skillful barber you can trust with your hair. The guys (and girl) at TWD have those skills and qualities if not more.

BUT, if you're ready to up your hair/beard game, than you need to book an appointment asap! I've followed Ryan from Bridgewater to Scotch Plains to Edison, and finally over to his own shop when it was opened a few years ago. Why do I drive from Branchburg to Metuchen and pass a zillion barbershops on the way? Because the quality of the cut and attention to detail from Ryan, and from all of the World of Beards barbers for that matter, is second to none. They take their time with their clients and ensure that each client is satisfied beyond their expectations. (I even trusted Ryan's recommendation on a new hair style that he felt would suit me better and, not only was he right, but I've never got back to my old style.) World of Beards = A great cut, great shave, great barbershop conversation, a beautiful shop, not to mention that they're phenomenal and caring human beings... I knew I found the right place when I could simply tell them to do to my hair and beard the way they would if they woke up one morning and looked like me, lol! Seriously, I've never had to point out something that didn't look right, and have never left unhappy. If you want a barbershop experience with no regrets, and more compliments than you know what do do with, the World of Beards is for you... Thank you to the World of Beards for making me feel like a valued client each and every time I'm there, and for making me feel and look more handsome than ever. God Bless!

He didn't even put on any spray or lotion for the burn. Picture is 5 hours later and my neck is still red and burning. I'd be surprised if he cleans his clippers. I've come to this shop since it's reopening this summer as it's in my neighborhood, and with my very first cut, I knew I'd go no where else. Today she recognized a difference in my hair noticing a quality she hadn't seen previously, a fuller shinier texture. She knows her profession and knows hair. (The shop was called Hair Tree Barber Shop when she took it over. She had to keep the name of the business). Originally back in the summer she flagged me down to come in when I was working for the census.
