I remember ballet as having structure and etiquette, this place no such luck! The classes are ok but usually completely full.
I try to get to class early enough to grab a spot at the bar, put my towel/water down, stretch and settle in. I am over 50 and stuff hurts! I use the bar to assist me when I need to make adjustments.
Today I was at the bar working out, all is great until it was time to put our weights back. The class was packed and someone had take the place where I was working out. The place I left my water, my key. I looked around the packed room and said to the women "I'm sorry but that was my spot".
Ok don't ever do that because the owner Jenna will swoop down so fast your head will spin! And she will space shame you, through her microphone with one of these- "We don't have saved places here" and while you stand there humiliated, looking around the packed room, she will dance off chanting..."one inch up, one inch down"... not offering a solution. And to make it even worse she will send you an email about reserving or saving spots in class...was that what I was doing? I thought I was just trying to work out.
