It's kinda cramped and there are always multiple trainers and clients there, usually privates with some duets, and of course that means the instructors are constantly talking to tell the clients what to do. And yes this is normal, BUT the acoustics are terrible so the room -- it's just one room -- is always loud. Which can make it difficult to hear one's instructor. Which is frustrating. They have two Cadillacs, which is fine, but for some unknown reason they decided to place them right next to one another instead of on opposite sides of the room. So very often you hear the instructor who's NOT talking to you better than the one who IS.

Per my neighbor, A…read morewarning about Pilates & Or on Canon Perdido...The couple who owns this business (Or and Ben) hired my 18 year old daughter as a nanny to travel with them throughout Europe for 5 months while they bring in over $40K per seminar they teach. She was tasked with caring for their two under 2 yr old children and had worked for them for several months with a negotiated salary prior to leaving. Upon arriving in Vienna and then Tuscany...she went from being a respected nanny with regular hours and breaks to being left alone in an apt for up to 18/hours per day, forced to sleep in the same room as the kids (zero private or down time) and expected to be the housecleaner as well. These grown men would get up from their meals and leave trash and dirty dishes on the table and direct her to clean up after them. Several weeks in...she became sick with a flu from exhaustion and was not paid. When she asked them for payment they informed her they would be giving her $1000 less a month than they had originally promised and told her if she didn't like it she could leave. Being the strong woman I raised her to be she opted for door # 2. However that meant the only $1000 they paid her was used for a 3 hour bus ride to the airport from the middle of nowhere, in a place she didn't speak the language, and a plane ticket home to get away from these abusive employers. She netted $0 for her work. I picked her up from the airport skinnier than only weeks prior and coughing, sneezing and feverish. What if she had run into dangerous people in a foreign country? I met these people prior, they fooled me too. Please do not endorse their business. Apparently they have done this to over 10 other Nanny's in the course of their childrens' 2 years on this Earth (according to their friends that were staying in the apartment as well.)
