I've never done classes like this and was intrigued as I know a few people who go here. I tried four classes with four different instructors and this is what I found. 1. While there is a circuit of machines and equipment to use, each class is different. There are themes to the classes which helps keep things feel fresh. 2. The instructors are seriously so positive and kind. They helped me with the machines and checked on me during each stage. 3. The people who go here are also so nice and supportive. It can be intimidating starting at a new place but I felt welcomed. 4. Sadly, this is not the workout for me but I really think this is a great place for people who want a trainer and enjoy this kind of pace. He works with me and makes an effort to understand and acknowledge my aspirations and limitations. I had two spine surgeries a few years ago and Nate has not only helped me get through the intense recovery but has catered to my needs and worked to make an appropriate program for my new restrictions. I appreciate that more than he, or anyone else knows. The program allowed me to keep my spirits high, stay physically active, and it, honestly, kept me inspired to change myself and my physical state. Although I recognize that I still have a long way to go, he has helped me regain much of the strength I have lost along my journey. I feel stronger and stronger after each week and I feel much more confident. I just hit over 125 completed workouts on Nate's plan and am so grateful for the time he has spent helping and training me. Nate's knowledge and level of expertise has allowed me to gain a lot. I was finishing my workout using the pull-up/leg raise station located between the cable machines. While I was still using the station, a very tall young man who appears to be an EOS employee approached with a woman he was training or working out with. He asked if I was using the cable machine. I explained that I was not using the cable itself but I was actively using the station for leg raises and only had two sets left. Instead of waiting a moment, he immediately began setting up the cable equipment and told the woman with him to start her exercise while I was still there. The woman even looked uncomfortable and seemed to realize that I was still using the station. When I told him I only had two sets left, his response was dismissive and disrespectful. He said he didn't care and gave me a very aggressive look, as if he felt entitled to take over the equipment regardless of whether another member was using it. What concerns me most is that this isn't the first time I've seen this same employee behave this way. I previously witnessed similar behavior at the downtown location where he acted very territorial about equipment while training with someone. Employees should set the example for professionalism and respect inside the gym. No member should feel pushed aside or intimidated while finishing a set. I hope management addresses this, because behavior like this creates a very uncomfortable environment for members.
