Pork roll egg and cheese on a bagel

Get the Bagel!! Their freshly squeezed juice isn't bad at all too. They get their bagel from hot bagel. If you are not a local, hot bagel is one of the best bagels out there in the United States, in my humble opinion. Freshly made food! If you don't go early they might sell out the bagel of your choice fyi . It's a cute place there's some seating. Friendly staff. I've been there a good dozen times and I'll go plenty more highly recommend

Super fresh and delicious food and juices, vegan/gluten free options and friendly staff. Perfect place to grab a prebeach coffee, sandwich or smoothie

What a cute place with great food and a very attentive owner!

Cool little place. Nice staff. Owners get fresh roasted coffee from a local roaster. This place is the new Coffee Etc.

LOVE that they have the fresh juices menu, and their veggie panini is spot-on and just what I needed.

Wow talk about hi prices. We are down the shore but seriously. If the food was fresh or even good I…read morecould understand it. I got a breakfast bagel sandwich and the bagel was so chewy I had to yank if from my mouth and nearly dislodged my expensive orthodontia. Seemed to be microwaved from the freezer. And the eggs, come on, frozen egg patties? At these prices. McDonalds uses fresh cracked eggs for their egg McMuffins. Tasteless. I only stomached half and forced it down. This place is supposed to be a high end cafe and serves Dunkin' egg patties. Act like one.

My friend I remembered Aneu was around the corner coming from a long day at the beach, and we…read moredecided to stop in for smoothies before our drive home. We were also hoping to pick-up something to use for dinner. After a quick look around the store we were quite shocked at the prices. Two chicken burgers (just the patties) were $24! Quickly we decided we would not be getting anything for dinner, but we still wanted to try a smoothie, having felt the smoothie bowls were okay last year when we tried them. While, we did order at different times under two different payments, we seemed to be forgotten about while waiting in line. Eventually when we did pay there seemed to be poor communication between the workers. I ordered the High Tide smoothie and my friend got the Blue lagoon smoothie. As soon as the smoothies were handed to us, my expectations plummeted. Instead of a nice thick smoothie, like you would expect from a place that specialized in smoothies and smoothie bowls, the smoothie had the consistency of water. At first I just thought they were over-blended, but upon my first sip I was extremely disappointed in the fact that I just spent almost $12 on what tasted like almond milk. I am guessing the smoothies contain very little of what is listed in the description and is mainly the milk and ice. Overall, this experience at Aneu was one of the biggest let downs I have had while eating out and I will definitely not be returning.

On top of that, the workers are typically accommodating and friendly. However, it is slow and it's small inside so you tend to stand for a long time to wait for your food. There are tables outside but you can't hear your name called from out there and they tend to not step outside to call for you. I am usually waiting for my food along with others in front of the menu board, knowing that I am blocking others' view of the menu. Yet, I can't do anything about it because there's no where else to go.

Unfortunately yesterdays experience was poor. My son opted to order online and got a pick up time of 9:38- we ordered 3 bowls- coco craze and 2 puravida and I think one of those had Nutella added. Anyway we went to Playa Bowls at the pick up time and our order was nowhere near ready. My son told us we were at least three orders away from them working on ours. When we finally got our bowls at 10 AM the bases were soupy and melty. The fruit quality was delicious but the base should not be soupy. The problem is that one worker set up the bowls while someone else finished the fruit-toppings, etc. they were busy and obviously can't handle the volume. Consequently our bowls suffered in the process. I think for the three bowls my son spent close to 50$. I noticed the other day I was there that there really wasn't a sense of urgency by the people behind the counter to complete orders either. I might be finished with playa bowls this trip. We'll see. I still love the vibe and the food- I would've liked a better experience- I guess I got spoiled all those other times.
