Right across the street from the Dental Depot in Norman, Ok is a cute, quaint little cafe that serves some of the best bagels in town. The atmosphere is really great! Even at the lunch time rush hour with the schools near, the staff still seems to get the job done is a timely manor. You're never waiting too long. The food is simply amazing. The bagels are fresh, the meat is always hot, and the spreads taste like ya grandma made em'. The coffee is some of the best in town here too. Doesn't taste like your common chain. I ordered a poppyseed bagel toasted with low-fat cream cheese. I got a nearly half baked bagel with a sprinkle of poppy seed. And on the inside was cream cheese dumped with poppy seed in the cream cheese. I'm not sure why the bad bagel because they had a basket of perfect looking poppy seed bagels. I am writing this as I'm eating because it could not wait! We have been here every week for months and the food is SPOT ON every single time. AS WELL AS SERVICE. Some of the best customer service I've ever come across! I always get the Cajun chicken breast on croissant and it is my favorite sandwich in Norman, hands down. Everything is so fresh and portions and great! My brother always gets the bacon breakfast bagel and he CRAVES it all of the time. This last time we went in, the server didn't hear him ask for bacon instead of sausage, so they let him take the sausage to go and remade it with bacon immediately. I offered to pay for the new sandwich and they refused. They even apologized several times and it was an honest mistake but they made it right immediately! Their coffee is also one of my faves. Rivals Starbucks for sure. read more

Workers are rude and make you feel like an idiot for asking a question. Went to get my regular order this morning and the tall man with curly hair was making it. As I saw him about to bag it I realized he had missed a component of the sandwich. He looked up at me so I asked if it was on the sandwich and he looks at me with the most disgusted look and says "Yes." without making any motion to check or show me. The manager noticed his response so she walks over and asked him if it was actually on the sandwich and he gave her the same response. As she walked away he made a disrespectful face and kept muttering about what idiots she and I were. Normally, I'll only leave a review if I'm especially impressed with the service I've received from a business. I could lay down my years of experience with customer service in retail stores and kitchens, but I just want to get to the message: I have waited in the drive-thru line for 45 minutes before I could order, which I declined to do when there wasn't any offer made to make-up for the time I've spent here. I wish I could leave a more holistic review to speak about their food, but unfortunately that may never happen seeing as this first visit has been horrendous (I could not leave due to how the drive-thru lane only has one exit). I'm a patient customer that sets a low bar for expectation, but if the business either knows they cannot meet demand or has been thrown into a corner, either close it early or do something for the customers who have wasted an hour waiting. Tried this place for lunch for the first time today and it was very delicious. I had the Boston Salad and my boyfriend had the Asian Salad. There were lots of toppings on mine but my boyfriend's salad was skimpy on the toppings. The chicken on the salads is outstanding. Great flavor and grilled to perfection. They've got a variety of breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches. They've got some basic ones like bacon and egg and some more exotic ones like a bagel with lox. The lox is my typical go to and I also like the veggie sandwich. The last time I went there I was pretty disappointed because my sandwich came with the tiniest little sliver of onion and I am very particular about every bite was sort of being more less perfect.
