I've learned so much in a short time, and every class leaves me feeling challenged in the best way. The workouts are always different, so it never gets repetitive, but they stay appropriate for the class level. The studio itself is beautiful, spotless, and has such a positive, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone, from the front desk to the instructors, is genuinely friendly. They also have a great boutique with cute workout apparel and accessories. One of the things I appreciate most is that Body Bar is a locally owned, family-run business. The owners are present, greeting members and making sure everyone has a great experience. You can tell they truly care about their studio and the community they've built. If you've been thinking about trying Pilates, don't be intimidated. Because of this, Julie had me sign up for classes through texting her or another trainer, but there was never any communication. I have shown up for 2 classes that were "cancelled" or in a "different location." Julie never mentioned another location for a class, which is something you should probably tell your customers during their first visit. Julie has no accountability, making excuses that they are a "small business" gym. Shouldn't that make is easier to communicate with your customers and trainers? I always support small businesses and have been to multiple local studio gyms, but this is the absolute worst experience I have had. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY FOR THIS PLACE.

I was always feeling tired, bloated, and weak. For almost 2 months without a job I tried working out on my own. Going on walks with my dog, doing 24 minute HIIT's here and there in my own home, but I wasn't feeling any stronger and wasn't seeing the changes I wanted to see. One day my mom came home from seeing a personal trainer. She told me I would love her and should give it a shot. I had never worked with a personal trainer before. I have been on countless sport teams up until college. I had done workouts with friends. Did a program called BBG my sophomore year of college, but never thought of going to a personal trainer. The first day I went to see Nadine, changed my life for the better. Don't get me wrong, the first day was hell. I could easily see me working out on my own hadn't done much at all after one workout with Nadine. But, I knew I found someone who would push me. So, I kept showing up. I have been seeing Nadine constantly 2-3 times a week for 7 months. I know weight matters to some, so I will share that I have dropped down to 145lbs. I HUGE factor in that is nutrition. Which I am 90% vegan. HOWEVER. I have never felt SO strong. The weight doesn't matter to me. The physical appearance doesn't matter to me. What does matter to me is the feeling of being STRONG. 7 months of hard work. 7 months of her pushing me to places I didn't know I could be pushed, and showing me I'm hella of a lot stronger than I ever thought I was. Nadine wants the best for her clients. If you let her work with you, push you outside your comfort zone, and let her show you how strong you can be, I promise you will not regret seeing this amazing trainer.

I wanted more/better lifting experiences and less emphasis on running/rowing. Loved my time there but I genuinely missed doing lifts with barbells, kettlebells, etc. A bunch of people I know followed the Journey IG which piqued my interest when I started shopping around for a new gym home. At the time, your first group workout was free to attend, to check out the gym. I immediately felt welcomed and encouraged at mine. You see the same/similar folks if you go to the same class time during the week, which helps with getting to know the community. The best quote to come from us evening folks in the last few months has been "we listen and we don't judge" :p In addition to group training, Tanner offers private coaching, athlete coaching, etc. He usually plans a few events sprinkled in throughout the year plus family/friends workouts to give potential clients an opportunity to check it out. The workouts have been great - lots of opportunities for alternatives and we use an app to track progress, weights, etc. Definitely a solid place to grow!

Jeff Banas seemed quite nice, knowledgeable and professional when I spoke to him on the phone about…read moremy injury. I went to his office and was put in a private room for initial treatment. I was a bit dismayed at the cleanliness of the room, or lack there of, but I overlooked it. He had me lay down on the table without the typical paper on the table and used a paper towel so my face didn't touch it. He started with a TENS unit and proceeded with a thorough adjustment. I was in tremendous pain and decided to return for subsequent visits because he seemed to be thorough, as I said, and I didn't want to delay treatment anymore to find another provider. On the next visit it was what I described above only the treatment following the TENS session was seemingly rushed and less thorough. I have had many chiropractic treatments and am familiar with the process. But I thought that perhaps he was dealing with a tight schedule or something of that nature. Again, I was in tremendous pain and was a bit desperate so I made another appointment. The room was still in the same condition with a dirty floor and dust. He still didn't put paper on the table and used a paper towel for my face. All I could think about was the fact that, since the rest of the room was dirty, what gross bacteria are lurking on that table where person after person lays down with their sweat, dirty clothes, and viruses. Still desperate, I schedule two appointments for the following week. Now for the third visit...I arrived at the appointment about 20 minutes early and the door was locked with the lights off. I thought that he would still arrive for the scheduled appointment and so I waited in my car for him to arrive. After waiting for 35 minutes I finally left. I went to the next appointment I had scheduled the week prior and asked him where he had been and he said that he thought he had notified me. Seriously? Clearly the same person who does the cleaning takes care of the administrative duties and they have zero regard for the pain the patients are in. And then there was the actual session; still dirty, still no paper. He had me lay down and put the TENS unit on. It turned itself off after the specified time and I waited for him to come back in. After waiting about 15 minutes I pulled off the gel pads from my back. I was appalled to find that they were filthy and appeared to have been used probably dozens of times if not more. I had never considered the possibility that the pads he was placing on my back were not new. In ALL of my other chiropractic experiences new pads are used for each patient and then kept in an individual bag with the patient's name on it. I seriously wanted to vomit. How incredibly unsanitary! Few things have disgusted me more than to imagine all of the people they had been stuck to and how dirty they must be to make the pads look so incredibly dirty. He probably bills every patient's insurance for pads on top of it. After I went outside the room to find him he came back in and did another half ass adjustment that took all of 60 seconds. So, if you don't mind a filthy environment, disgusting tools and being stood up for your appointment, Jeff Banas is your guy!!!

Immediately upon walking in we felt welcomed by every single parent, child, and staff member. We loved it so much that we immediately committed. They even worked with a few scheduling conflicts we had due to prior show commitments. We are a few months into the season and my daughter is having the time of her life at this place. She has made true friendships and while they have competition levels, they treat everyone fairly and push each student to succeed and focus on their technique and improvement. The prices are also very clear and organized and completely up front. There have not been any surprises or issues. It is truly a family ran business and I cannot say enough positive things about this place. The dance world can be a very nasty and competitive place and RAD truly is everything except that. This is a small business you want to succeed and feel so passionate and connected with. We are thrilled with our experience.

We are looking at some major savings. Thank god). My little is special needs, so we are going to wait a couple years, but the team is amazing! They're so kind, understanding, and accommodating.
