The lady working the front was so nice and gave a nice detailed explanation of how the rooms work and the hints and time limit and after she shut the door, the escape room began. Everything in the room(s) that we went through were clever in design and idea but I will say they could use a little TLC because a couple things were a little beaten up and could be fixed. The design and theme of the Indiana Jones style room we did was amazing and having to go from room to room to find more clues was a ton of fun. We beat the room with two minutes to spare and it was such a thrill! I also really enjoy that the room is private regardless of how many people are in your party!

It's been awhime since I've done an escape room but while it was quite challenging it was also fun going through it trying to piece the clues together with everyone! The room was very immersive and I appreciated the level of details. Overall, such a fun experience and Quinn working the front was very sweet and helpful explaining everything. Definitely recommend!

I had the chance to experience Cypress Golf thanks to a Yelp Elite event, and while my husband and…read moreI are not golfers at all, we still had a really fun time. Let's start with Ben, who greeted us and immediately made us feel welcome. He was incredibly helpful in getting our game set up, explaining how everything worked, and making sure we were comfortable--even as total beginners. That alone made the experience enjoyable. The space itself is on the smaller side, as is the plaza, but it's well laid out. There are three bays, enough room for groups without feeling cramped, and a pool table, which was a nice bonus. For drinks, they offer Michelob Ultra, an IPA, and a variety of sodas and water. There's no food on site, but you're able to order from outside, which is convenient. Cypress Golf has only been open for about four months, and it's clear they're on the right track. A few small improvements could really elevate the experience--expanding the beverage options, offering some light snacks, and cooling the space a bit more (it was a little hot and muggy). It would also be great to see options for left-handed players, as only right-handed clubs were available. We did notice a group come in with their own clubs, and this spot definitely seems best suited for people who already know how to play and what they're doing. That said, even as beginners, we had fun--and a big part of that was thanks to Ben's patience and great attitude. Wishing Cypress Golf continued success and the best of luck as they grow. It's a solid concept with a lot of potential.

They have three "ranges", where you can choose a regular golf course or mini golf course. We chose mini golf and it was cool, as we can see a play back of our swing. They offer a membership, so if you just want to practice indoors, I think it's a great option. The place also sells several types of water, beer, wine and has a partnership with the pizza place in the plaza, so you can order pizza and bring it over. I recommend for a fun friend's night out!

Flippos in Fort Lauderdale is my new fave kids' indoor playground and party place!…read more We recently celebrated my grandson's 8th birthday and it was amazing for the kids, teens, and us adults. Although smaller than other similar venues, they are big enough with fun areas that include a rope course and a toddler area. As far as the party food they prepared, it was great--with cold veggies for dipping, fruit, sandwiches and other finger foods! I absolutely loved their grilled chicken and the way they served the fruit. They also have a café where I would go for lunch any day of the week, if I lived closer! I hope my photos do a bit of justice to the incredible staff here--especially the young lady who planned and served us so well! We had a super day! Everything was beyond what I expected and of course I recommend them!

In other words, a slimy up charge. I didn't have my clubs so they offered to rent me some irons, $7.50 per person. These clubs looked heavily used from the 80s and were beat! As others have mentioned, the mats are worn and uneven, it could use a major update. The worst part is as I was paying, the owner guilted me into adding a few extra dollars for a "tip". Not sure what he did to deserve one but tipping culture has def reached its peak if they are pushing for tips at this place. Unreal!! Two small buckets and two iron rentals (drivers are additional) came out to $50+. I'll go to TopGolf next time for similar pricing but a better experience.

For over 50 years, the Aqua Golf Driving Range has been providing golfers and their families…read moreputting practice and fun in the small Broward County town of Pembroke Park. Aqua Golf is one of the last free standing golf ranges left in Broward County. What makes Aqua Golf unique is that it is a water driving range. Instead of hitting the ball onto the green, you hit the balls into a scenic 20 acre lake. A large bucket of balls runs $15. Aqua Golf also has a pro shop and offers lessons. Of course you can't talk about Aqua Golf Driving Range without mentioning the movie that put it on the map, There is Something About Mary. The movie is a about a Rhode Island man played by Ben Stiller who tracks down the girl of his dreams in South Florida. Cameron Diaz playing sweet Mary Jensen meets Matt Dillion's private investigator Pat Healy at Aqua Golf for the first time before they begin dating. Although Aqua Golf is looking a little more worn than its There is Something About Mary Days, it still retains a vintage charm. In our high tech, fast passed world it is nice to know there is still a family run business where you can still enjoy the simple pleasure of hitting a bucket of balls into a lake.

This is a private area where they give you a wristband. There are private bathrooms that look just like the ones in the regular arena, nothing special. Some of the food was pretty good and some wasn't great. I tried the prime rib and turkey and both were fine. Oysters were good as was the shrimp cocktail. It was funny because a man was making a pasta for a customer that smelled so good. I asked for a small portion and it had next to zero flavor. The sushi I ate was ok. It was sort of standard, not bad not great. All the wines they offer are Jacob's Creek. I was surprised because this is probably one of the lowest priced wines Publix sells. I have even bought it for like $7. I think they should offer higher quality wines. With entrance, you are only entitled to wine, beer and soft drinks and bottled water. The drinks with spirits are pricey. They do have a refrigerator with cans of Cokes, Sprites and bottled water. You can take as much as you want. We had to scramble to find seats. We sat with some nice people, but all the other tables were taken. I just don't think what you get here justifies what people pay to be admitted. I would rather spend the money on a nice restaurant with drinks nearby. This is an ok experience if someone else is paying in my opinion.
