Excellent from start to finish. We were greeted by the very kind Dennis and Peggy, the owners of this gorgeous home. We were blown away by the home design and the amazing views of the ocean. We relaxed in the giant tub, had a drink with Dennis before we left for dinner and finished our stay with a beyond gourmet breakfast in the morning. The artwork is stunning and the architecture is so unique. I highly recommend this BB.

Majestic Pacific Ocean view from our room. Every detail was perfect.

Stunning, luxurious, private. You literally will not find a better view or more gracious hosts anywhere.

We rented the larger room since it was 800ish sf, had a private bathroom and a huge living area. At…read morefirst we weren't so sure about the place because it's dated a bit. The place is owned by an elderly couple - she is British and he is Czech and speaks 4 languages. Really cool. There is a large dining table in the living area so we got to enjoy our breakfast by ourselves. We had 4 or 5 options to choose from. I am gluten free and the owner easily accommodated my diet. My fiancé isn't GF and got to try some amazing home made rustic bread. The food was 5 stars, hands down. The dinnerware was old beautiful porcelain and is from the Czech Republic. A bit too fancy for us but it was fun to pretend for a weekend. In our living room was a Steinway grand piano. It was covered but guests could play, if they inquired about it. The comforter and pillows on the bed were pure heaven, very very expensive and only the best. The bedroom had a nice walk in closet. There was a large TV and a small selection of DVD's and VHS tapes. There wasn't cable, which was fine by us because we come to enjoy the beach, not to watch TV. The owners had a lovely selection of books to peruse through. There is a jetted tub on the property that guests can enjoy (for a small fee). The patio area was all done by them and was beautiful. I have no idea what the check out time was because we ended up talking to the owners for about 2 hours. They even offered to make us lunch and bring it down to our room so we eat together. We would have taken them up on their offer if my fiancé didn't have to drive to Spokane the same day for work. The owners are very well spoken and lovely people. It's so interesting to hear about other's lives from different parts of the world and how they ended up in the PNW. Quite fascinating people.

We were staying in Wheeler and this place was recommended so we had to give it a try. We came for…read moredinner, and were sat at a table inside (also had an outside option, but I didn't want to also be a meal for the mosquitoes). We were also greeted by Turbo, the cool little dachshund who is the owners dog, and he does super cute tricks. This is a family-owned place so you'll likely be greeted by the owner (Kendra), her mother, or her daughter. We really enjoyed our meal here, felt it was a fair (coast) price, and will likely try the B&B next time as she let us take a look at one of the rooms and they looked very comfortable. Doesn't suck that they are right next to the river either.

RESTAURANT ONLY REVIEW -- SERVICE WITH A SLAP…read more I was invited out by my parents for my birthday dinner with bf and bff in tow. You'd think I was still a teenager because I wasn't consulted or asked where I wanted to go, what I wanted to eat, etc. We end up at Kendra's. First of all, I thought were going somewhere "nice." This dining room looked like a diner, not a dining room. Tacky table cloths like you put on a picnic table, very low key. Inside seating and outside seating with a view. When we arrived the server was yelling at the cook and I'm like, oh geez here we go! The same server, naturally, comes to serve us and she is nastier than an alley cat who just had her food taken away. She did settle down during the dinner. I was able to order what I wanted, the halibut that has raves here. It was merely passable . . . overcooked, the twice baked potato was awful and I don't remember the veggies. I think it came with a salad and that was the only good thing in the dinner. The drinks that they offer were limited, forget it on the wine, she didn't even know what Prosecco is when I asked. I had a huge Mojito and thank goodness, that made my night. Because my Dad (yet again!) ordered dessert without asking me, we got the deep dish baked cookie pan, 2 for the table with mounds of ice cream. Again, okay, not great. At what I saw the prices, this would have had to be great in California to last as a resto. Maybe it's slim pickins in Oregon, but I don't think this is a great place at all, esp. since the server was very rude in the beginning but got better later on. ~Ms. Ali
