A great place to come and hang out! Beautifully restored building with a great bar and sofas for cozy seating. Patrick knows his way around a great cocktail! So knowledgeable about the history of the drinks and so delicious!! Food choices are elevated but approachable so be sure to enjoy. I had the caprese sandwich and it was so good. They distilled their own spirits. They have a tasting and it is hard to decide which is best. My favorite was the Rye. A little confusing when you first arrive. Just park in the back and go up the ramp. There isn't a sign out front but don't let it intimidate you. A place you won't want to miss out on. read more

We came in with a large group including 10 kids and The Association accommodated us beautifully! Everyone was so kind and welcoming. We loved the cocktails and the sushi was excellent. The kids loved the ice cream. They even let the kids play their piano! We can't wait to come back on our next trip to Montrose! Highly recommend! read more

In great anticipation of their opening, we finally popped in to grab some tasty brews, wine and spirits. Let me just say...the space and ambiance is warm, inviting and so comfortable! Grab some cozy chairs, couches or belly up to the bar...it's all good! I'm looking forward to coming back and trying out some of their food items. I wanted to love it and have given it over a dozen tries but it's a hard no. When friends get together it's hard to get anyone to agree to this spot. Drinks are too expensive to have to bus your own table. It's tough to leave your group to stand in line at one of the food or drink offerings, pay again or have separate tabs at them. Someone coming around to bus the tables and/or take drink orders at busy times would be helpful. It's an insult to pay big bucks for food that comes on throw away plates/bowls w disposable "silverware". Lastly- the male owner is not friendly, more indifferent than anything. I never got a smile, hello or thank you for coming and there are often kids around taking up seating or sitting on the floor. Not a relaxing vibe, I give up. read more

Visiting family in town and came for an advertised event (pints & puzzles). Planned our whole day around the event - arrived 20 minutes early to grab a spot and a drink before puzzles were supposed to be handed out at 6 pm sharp. When I asked about the event, they said they didn't advertise it and weren't planning on hosting it unless more people showed up. So much for a fun evening with family - won't be back. read more

Wow, this place is such a great addition to Montrose. Drinks and staff are great and the vendors serving food offer yummy options. I've done several events they put on that are so fun but I also just enjoy meeting friends for drinks! I'm so excited for the outside patio areas this summer. I came in on Halloween to see/hear the band. Compared to other venues, the sound was HORRIBLE. Too loud and yet I couldn't understand anything they were saying. I don't know if it was the sound equipment they were using or if it's just the acoustics in that space. read more

This beautifully restored building (inside & out) is in both the state and federal historic registries so the building alone is worth the gander. Inside you have a few vendors with friendly and knowledgeable staff. One of my favorite things is that it's one of the few places to taste Stormking Distilling Co's, Sidegig, which won the WORLDS BEST AMERICAN whiskey category a year or two back. The distillery offers tours and thoughtfully created cocktails that are of a caliber one would see in big cities. Additionally they have Sushi on the roll, the best SUSHI on the Western Slope, rivaled only by No Coast sushi in GJ. A great family friendly feature is the Gelato / Italian Ice Cream shop at Meat & Gather with excellent flavours.... pistachio is a MUST! along with great espresso, cured meats, cheeses and a few panini optiones. I have yet to visit the newest food vendor in but look forward to my next visit for world class cocktails and amazing food. read more
