The views from the back of the lodge are breathtaking. There is an area where wedding ceremonies take place that looks out into the beautiful mountains. It really is gorgeous. The main hall is a nice size. You can easily fit 150 probably up to 250. I am not sure what the actual limit is. Or friend's wedding had just over 100 and there was a ton of room. During the rehearsal (3pm) and on the night of the wedding, there were deer that came down into the fields....so beautiful. The staff said they deer are regularly there every afternoon. The Food Our friend's wedding was buffet style and the food was good. We had a chicken Alfredo pasta, salad, mac and cheese, and bread service. There was a cash-only bar that according to my wife, had good drinks. The Staff The only member of the staff that I worked with was Linda. She was amazing and was so patient with our party. I believe she is one of the head members at the Elk's club, and she really just tried to make the best out of every situation on the day of the wedding. We had a few schedule issues that came up and she did great working with all the different personalities. Overall, depending on the vibe you are looking for with your event, the Elks Lodge is a good choice. There is a ton of parking, the offer food and all of the table and chair rentals are included.

I use each wedge (50, 54, 60-degree) almost equally in what on a fast day is a 30-40 minute round or a 60-minute one on a slow day. Major negatives are the cost and green/tee conditions. At $20 for nine holes and $5 more for replay for adults (June 2025), I expected somewhat nicer tee boxes and greens. Tee boxes are chewed up and/or produce uneven lies. We went just before two hours of the closing time and wish we came in a little earlier. This three floor observatory is so beautiful and informative from the gigantic telescope to play area for the kids it is a must visit for everyone. Our favorite part was looking at the galaxies from the large telescope in the night. We got to see the nebula and it was so cool. It just made us feel how tiny we are in this massive space. I loved how once you buy the tickets you could step out and come back so that's a great advantage to take specially when you want to do both during the day and the night.

The dark skies over Flagstaff reveal more stars than Hollywood on Oscar night. Seriously, you look up and suddenly realize the universe has been showing off this whole time and you've just been missing the show. The telescopes were the real headliners. One was locked onto Jupiter, and we could see it in crystal clarity along with three of its moons just casually hanging out like cosmic roadies. Another telescope pointed us toward the Pleiades--also known as the Seven Sisters--which looked like the universe spilled a little glitter across the sky. The staff deserve their own constellation. Knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful, they explained everything without making the rest of us feel like we'd failed Astronomy 101. The outdoor show was informative, fun, and moved so quickly we almost forgot we were sitting in the cold... almost. Let's just say the temperature was sub-planetary, but the experience was stellar. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Flagstaff, orbit on over to Lowell Observatory. It's an out-of-this-world experience that will leave you starry-eyed and over the moon.

My overall rating for Little America Hotel Flagstaff is 3 stars…read more I want to start by saying that overall, many of the staff were kind, and I've stayed at this property multiple times before with good experiences. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds and pillows are amazing, and the views of the Coconino Forest are beautiful. I also really enjoy the heated pool, the walking trails, and how convenient the location is to nearby stores, gas stations, food, and the highway. However, this stay started off on a rough note during check-in and unfortunately impacted my overall experience. When I approached the front desk, the representative (I believe his name was Hudson) had just been warm and friendly with the guests ahead of me. But when it was my turn, his entire demeanor shifted. I greeted him politely, introduced myself, and asked how he was doing--he didn't acknowledge my greeting at all. He became very robotic, avoided eye contact, and rushed through the process in a way that felt uncomfortable and dismissive. The interaction continued to feel tense. He spoke quickly, made assumptions about my payment method, and presented documents to sign without explanation or engagement. The only time he made eye contact was when emphasizing rules about no smoking and no pets. I had previously called to confirm that I could bring my cat, who is an emotional support animal, and was told that would be allowed with documentation. When I explained this, he became agitated and insisted I must have spoken to a third party, implying the information I received wasn't valid. After requesting a manager, the situation shifted, and I was eventually allowed to proceed with a one-time fee instead of a nightly charge. However, the interaction felt unnecessarily difficult and uncomfortable. What made this experience more concerning was something I observed after checking in. When I connected to the TV system, I noticed that one of the device names visible on the network included a racial slur. Guests do not have the ability to rename these TVs--they are pre-programmed--so this is something that had to come from within the organization. That was extremely upsetting and unacceptable to see in a professional environment. It's 2026, and people are still out here using racial slurs, spreading hate instead of love and kindness. I'm not interested in being in environments that feel stuck in the past. I want to be around warm, welcoming, modern people who choose unity over division. This is the main reason I cannot rate this stay higher. While I understand that not everyone reflects this behavior, it raises serious concerns about oversight and accountability. Management should be more attentive to what is happening within their establishment, especially when it comes to creating a respectful and inclusive environment for all guests. It's disappointing because I've enjoyed staying here in the past. However, based on this experience, I don't feel comfortable returning and will choose to spend my money elsewhere moving forward.

In the Red Barn, the Sage's, thus the name of the farm, host house concerts and exclusive private events for friends of Golden Sage Farm. The barn is such an intimate venue and seeing the first performance of the season, the Cary Morin Duo, which was so enjoyable, we cannot wait for their May event starring Kirk James! We love that there is absolutely no smoking on the premises and that they aim for zero trash! There are horseshoe pits and a pool table to enjoy after the show! I had a very poor experience with Total Grand Rental. They rented me a broken woodchipper, and then…read morerefused to provide a refund They charged me a $350 rental fee for broken equipment, which I had returned within an hour. I had been a loyal customer for nearly nine years. Over this time, I have rented various pieces of equipment, such as floor sanders and excavators, and purchased tools including axes and a chainsaw. On this occasion, I rented a six-inch wood chipper. The chipper was unable to grind even small branches under two inches in diameter, which indicates significant mechanical issues. Upon discovering this problem, I immediately contacted their staff. I was instructed to return the equipment and assured that I would be "taken care of." Upon returning the chipper within an hour of receiving it, I was informed that the only other chipper available was also inoperable, making it impossible for me to complete the work as planned. The next day, I spoke with Brian, the owner. He informed me that he would not provide a refund for the rental. The fine print on their contract indemnified them from any liability. Equipment issues may occur from time to time, but a reputable business takes accountability and seeks to make things right for its customers. This business is happy to take your money, but will not be there for you when something goes wrong. I paid for a service that was not provided.

The first lift we rented was leaking hydraulic fluid (at the jobsite) which we needed to clean and our guy got stuck with the lift in the air. Finally, we were able to get it down. The 2nd time we rented a lift (about a month later) the controls in the bucket would not work. We should've known when the mechanic stated they have repaired this lift 6 times. We called to let them know we would be returning, however, they wouldn't refund the charge. Apparently, we were supposed to stop everything that day and return it to them right after we spoke with them. They used to be Total Grand Rental. They have no pride in their work or business. Go elsewhere. Their pricing may be good, but how much is your time worth?
