It was just too cold and dangerous for the kids to play on a 15 foot water slide. The owner acted concerned for my daughters happiness at her birthday party said that he would bring a small safe non water bounce house and make me a deal. As my daughter really wanted the water slide bounce house. He told me regular prices are: The large water slide bounce is $149/day The small bounce house is $89/day He offered this deal instead of cancelling: If I paid $120 that day he would bring a small bounce for the party that wouldn't be affected by the wind and bring the large water slide bounce for only $49 more another day this summer. Sounded like a good deal to me so I trusted him and paid him. He replied to my request to book the day with the slide bounce then didn't show up when he realized it was me. Then didn't call back or return my call/texts. He stole my money and scammed me. What a jerk. I feel so dumb for trusting this guy and believing be really cared about my daughter having a good birthday and getting to play in the slide. I do NOT recommend this company.

When I couldn't find the place, I called to ask for directions and I was told to go off the map on FB... that's what I was using. I finally had my friend send me a drop-pin to her location to figure out where to go. The front office was a cluster of miscellaneous speaker boxes, cords, and folding tables/desks. The area with the bounce houses in it was EXTREMELY HOT and even with the use of a fan, it didn't even help 5%. As a parent, not nearly doing as much playing as my daughter, I was sweating bullets. Even though my daughter couldn't speak for herself - I knew she was hot and we needed to go. It took me almost 2 hours to finally cool down once we left... I just couldn't shake it. There were a ton of cords laying around. I understand that cords need to be used to power up the houses, but there should be a cover over them. Defiantly not kid friendly. And the dirty back corner of the larger bounce house was pretty gross... once we saw that we took the kids out and let them play in the smaller one for a bit before leaving. Compared to Go Bananas at the Gateway Mall... there fee w/ parents is $5 all day. This place was $7... I felt like it was WAY overpriced. I could see the $7 price if there was air conditioning. But to pay $7 to sit in my own sweat, I'll stay home and relax in the backyard while my child plays with the sprinkler. I really wish I would've liked this place. There isn't much to do for toddlers in the area and this experience just eliminated one more option off the list. :(

We rented basically everything we didn't feel like purchasing, from hurricane vases and votives to 3 gallon beverage dispensers and even giant Jenga. They were incredibly communicative and easy to book, and pick up and drop off were a breeze. All in all, renting from Something Borrowed was an excellent, stress-free experience and I would recommend them to any money-savvy couple looking to save a few bucks while also wanting a gorgeous wedding!
