Space is too small. Vibe is not welcoming to outsiders. Staff is rude. Was bummed because I heard great things about this spot.

Redlands Book Store & Boutique / Donation Center

Their used stuff is dirty and too expensive, bad quality too. They have rude management and staff. Wouldn't be surprised at all if this supposed non-profit feeds its pockets with all that money from donations for personal use instead.

Right off the bat, THIS DOES NOT FEEL NOR OPERATE LIKE MOST GOODWILL STORES DO. It's significantly smaller with a limited selection of items. Every time I've been in there, there's been no furniture/larger items, and the selection of items as a whole is small. An assortment of home decor items and clothing accessories, a wall of books, some clothing racks in the middle. That's pretty much it. That all being said...everything available is very carefully curated and shockingly clean by Goodwill standards. The shelves and books are all color-coordinated, and pretty much everything seems to be in very decent condition. It feels more like a small secondhand boutique than a Goodwill, to be honest. Given the size of the space, I actually appreciate that it's laid out this way. It's easier to find things, and the things that I find are usually of higher quality. If you are trying to make a donation...I, personally, would not do it at this particular location. The thing I like about making donations to most Goodwill stores is the ease of it. I like being able to pull my car up to the side of the building and have an employee take the items without too much fuss. From all of the negative reviews on here, it seems like that isn't really how donations go down at this Goodwill store. I would actually recommend the Colton Avenue location in Redlands for anyone looking to make donations in the area, as that seems to be a store with a more standard donation set-up.

From the moment…read morewe arrived, it was clear that their mission to rescue and care for farm animals in need is carried out with dedication and genuine compassion. The animals at Reject Ranch are not just living beings but are treated with the utmost respect and kindness they deserve. Each animal has a unique personality, and interacting with them was a delightful experience that melted our heart. It was wonderful to see how well they were cared for in such a loving environment. A special mention goes to Kady, who was incredibly informative and helpful throughout our visit. Her knowledge and passion for the animals and their well-being were evident, making our interaction both educational and enjoyable. Her kindness allowed us to connect with the resident animals in a meaningful way. Meeting these loving creatures entirely altered my perception of farm animals and emphasized the importance of empathy and compassion for all living beings. We left Reject Ranch with a renewed sense of purpose and a desire to contribute to their mission. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Reject Ranch. It's a place that enriches your understanding of animal welfare and inspires continuous support. I…read morefirst joined because my friends told me about the two hours of free childcare included with membership, and as a new mom, that sounded amazing. At the time, our income was low, but the Y offered scholarships, which made it possible for us to join. We received a 50% scholarship, and it truly was a blessing. It gave me time to work out, take classes, and just have a little "me time" while my baby was safe and cared for. Now that my son is in preschool, I have the flexibility to come at any time, and I love that freedom. The childcare hours used to be limited to mornings (around 8 to 12) and a bit in the afternoon (around 3:30), but now I just come whenever I can. I usually do my own workouts since the group class times don't always fit my schedule, but there's such a great variety, swimming, tap, pilates, fusion, and so much more. Another thing I love is the sense of community. I often see friends from church here, and it feels like an extension of that family atmosphere. The staff is generally friendly, though a few could be a bit more personable, but overall, they're helpful and kind. For the value, variety, and community, the YMCA has been such a big part of my life these past few years. I'm so grateful for it, and I can honestly say, I love the Y!
