My wife and I were first introduced to the Elks Lodge by a coworker of hers when we were looking for an affordable wedding venue that allowed us to bring our own food. With a very modest $5,000 wedding budget for 250 people, the Elks Lodge welcomed us in and my wife was able to become a member and receive the member rate for the venue. On the surface, the venue for the Elks Lodge is what I would describe as 80's-esque. There is a bar area, a moderately sized dance floor, a dining area, and a covered outdoor patio in the back. With some imagination and creative decorations, you can transform the place! For the size of our wedding reception, we made full use of the areas that were available. The Lodge provided bartenders for the wedding as well as a main point of contact for any logistical questions. My wife and I couldn't be happier with choosing the Elks Lodge as our wedding venue. The people are wonderful and it made for a very intimate and community-filled wedding. read more

We went to the elks lodge for our dads memorial. Julie took great care of the memorial. There is none better at service than Julie. We want to thank her for the best service that can be provided. The lodge was perfect and we were pleased with the area that was provided. The bar was open for a great toast to our dad. We brought in our own food that went quick once everyone decided to eat. The remainder of the get together was perfect. Thank you so much redlands elks and Julie for a perfect afternoon!! The parking was great. The room was big and tables were just enough. Redlands Elks Lodge is the BEST; My hubby (Elk) and I got married here on April 20th 2019, we had about 160 people and let me tell you we had the BEST experience EVER, since we decided to have our wedding in the Redlands Elks Lodge everything got easier, they worked with us with planning, decorations, outside food vendor; ABC/City permites. And welcomed us everyday like it was the first time, with a big smile and lots of support. Mike is an amazing coordinator, he always had an answer to our questions, very acknowledgeable, Mike has a great taste and amazing advice to give. He took the time to follow up with us on pending/last minute questions. The day before, and the day of the wedding he communicated with us (just in case we needed something) All the support from the Elks community was(is) amazing, our bartenders ROCK our night and all our family/friends were super happy with their customer service; our representative (Mark) for wedding day was very professional, helpful and with an awesome attitude. Everyone was super helpful, I/We want to thank the entire Elks Lodge and their Administration for standing up 100% to our venue contract, 0 complaints, nothing but support and smiles. First time I attend an Elks lodge. We came here for a work Christmas party and the place is perfect for these types of venues. Place is old of course, but clean. The back patio just feels like you are in back of someone's house. The staff were all friendly, the food they served was average and small amount. I was surprised on how quick they put away the food. One hour tops. The bar has a small beer selection, variety of mixed drinks and regular bar prices of course. The bartenders were really nice people and provided excellent customer service. Like I said for a business venue it is great, but if you want to throw a personal party and impress people I would look elsewhere. read more

This place is real. The members come from all walks of life, and many are veterans. I wouldn't expect the club to be politically correct, since they don't have to be. Veterans signed up so we can enjoy being FREE. Don't you dare be so petty with your weak complaints when these same veterans went through more than you have for the same freedom you take for granted. The manager is not racist, nor is it racist to inform someone that there's a lot of white people around! I'm not saying he's the smartest potato in the salad, just don't play the race card. Just between you and me, I've been welcomed back several times to the Elks and have always had a great time. It's a safe, family place. I stress family. Family is like good fudge. Mostly sweet with a few nuts. If you find yourself crying about the nuts, perhaps YOU'RE the crazy one. read more

Elks lodge in Redlands serving dinner till 7 PM for veterans got here at 5:30 and they already stop serving. I guess the Elks Lodge suck what they need to do is figure out how to plan this or post that it needs to be RSVPs so they know how many people to feed I drove an hour to get here with my family and I got here and no food you guys suck I won't be back don't offer to do anything for me that's why I didn't ever join the Elks when I was in my hometown. read more

This place was awful! I attended a wedding reception there and it was horrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It was hot in there! Over 80° F. The manager or owner of the place was extremely rude. Spend your money elsewhere! You can find a better place at a lower cost. read more

We had my company party here. The facility was great and all that attended had a good time. The caterer we were referred to, QWorks, was awesome! The theme of the party was "Luau" and QWorks prepared a whole roasted pig and all of the traditional side dishes. Everyone was raving about the food!! We are looking into having our next company party her at the end of the year. read more

We celebrated our daughters nursing school graduation here. We met with Deana, she was exceptional planning for 100+ guests. The bartender Shawn was professional and provided great service. Mixed drinks were great! Beer was cold. Didn't expect to be so busy @the bar. Jeremy, Hillary and John stepped up and helped anywhere and everywhere through out evening. This facility including restrooms was clean all evening. Great roomy atmosphere and kind people. Would highly recommend. read more

Poor customer service from employees not worth renting a hall there for any family event. I have been so stressed out trying to find a perfect place for my first baby shower. I have called plenty of places and there is either no answer or they ask to call back. This place asked for my name and number to call back. To rent out a hall, everyone knows that they have to plan a head because dates get taken fairly fast. In addition, I have heard that to get the day you want, you have to rent to halls many months advanced. Therefore, I called back the next day because no one didn't even call me back. Yet again, they said they will give me a call back and just give them my name and phone number. I explained that I already called the day before and I really do need some information. The guy on the phone starts giving me attitude and states to hold quickly (did not ask me to be placed on hold or not even a please) Once his manager got on the phone which his name is brad if I can remember correctly. He also gave me unnecessary attitude as well. I replied Sir, I would like to get some information to rent out your hall. Again with the attitude, my name is Brad not sir!!! (In a very rude tone) Many people mistaken my name plenty of times and I do not get that upset about it. Especially if I am not at work. Even after I explained to him that I said sir not Sam, he still gave me attitude. For instance, how hard is it to give someone simple information? I just need to compare prices that is reasonable for myself. Sadly, the only reason why I called Elks lodge is two of my family members recommended me to call for information because it is nice with respectful employees and there lodge is very nice. Mind you, this is my first pregnancy so it is very important to me and very stressful trying to find a perfect place. In addition, speaking to not one but two employees with no great customer service is very disappointing. It just made me feel more stressful because I really wanted to rent out this place. After all, after I got the phone call ended, I called the American Legion on Colton Ave (which is down the street from Elks lodge) The Lady Carroll was so sweet and she gave me so much information and information that wasn't even need. She went over and beyond with her customer service. I recommend this place because of my great experience with them. I am now renting there for my baby shower there now. I guess things do happen for a reason; in addition, I am paying much more less than what I would have paid at Elks Lodge. I have never had anyone talk to me like how they treated me over the phone. I feel like poor customer service like those two employees be recognized for the people who are looking for a place to rent out for a family and friend event. I made this account on Yelp just more me to write a review about there poor customer service. That is how disappointed I was. I hope I helped anyone that is big on customer service like me because a place with poor customer service shouldn't be handling family and friend events. I wish I could give negative stars! Horrible place to have an event at the manager Brad Easter was very rude to me and my guest! Our last hour was at 11 he came out at 10:50 yelling at the dj to cut off the music and told my guest if your not cleaning you need to get the heck out of here now! He never turned the air on mind you my event was in the middle of July so no one was dancing I almost passed out, we gave him 600 for some open bar and he only opened it when HE wanted to, he was saying racist comments to my grand mother. It was the absolute worst experience ever the manager ruined my reception luckily my actual ceremony was in Hawaii so he couldn't ruin that it is also way over priced for the quality of this place!!! read more

The Redlands Elks Lodge is a great venue to hold an event. We hosted a ball with over 100 people and could not have asked for a better venue. They provided bartenders, tables and chairs, and linens and worked with our caterer. We also had a live band. They have a great dance floor, stage and more than enough space for dancing and partying. The staff was very friendly, and very helpful. They also provided a cash bar with very good prices. We had a great time and plan on using this venue every year! read more

This is a great casual place to host a party or event. I like the vintage atmosphere of the bar area the best. It's very relaxing and the lighting is low. Good drinks prices, a small stage for a band to play on, and a grand piano available. Being in the bar there kind of feels like being in a bygone era. A hidden treasure in Redlands. read more

From: Pacific High School - Class of 1962. In 2012, we had a joint 50 year reunion at the Redlands Elks......we invited SBHS to join us, it was a huge success with 327 people in attendance. WHAT A GREAT VENUE this Lodge is !!!! Spacious, CLEAN, a nostalgic bar area, big dance floor/stage, and large dining room. Biggest covered patio I've ever seen. .................. This past Saturday, April 25th, 2015, the PHS class (only), had a 52-1/2 year reunion. We were so happy to be back there, and plan to return again in October, 2017 for the 55 year reunion. OBVIOUSLY, our class is very pleased with what Elks Lodge #583 has to offer. Brad Easter, the manager "takes care of business" the right way.
