I've been coming to the YMCA consistently since my son was about six months old, he's four now! I…read morefirst joined because my friends told me about the two hours of free childcare included with membership, and as a new mom, that sounded amazing. At the time, our income was low, but the Y offered scholarships, which made it possible for us to join. We received a 50% scholarship, and it truly was a blessing. It gave me time to work out, take classes, and just have a little "me time" while my baby was safe and cared for. Now that my son is in preschool, I have the flexibility to come at any time, and I love that freedom. The childcare hours used to be limited to mornings (around 8 to 12) and a bit in the afternoon (around 3:30), but now I just come whenever I can. I usually do my own workouts since the group class times don't always fit my schedule, but there's such a great variety, swimming, tap, pilates, fusion, and so much more. Another thing I love is the sense of community. I often see friends from church here, and it feels like an extension of that family atmosphere. The staff is generally friendly, though a few could be a bit more personable, but overall, they're helpful and kind. For the value, variety, and community, the YMCA has been such a big part of my life these past few years. I'm so grateful for it, and I can honestly say, I love the Y!

It's a great facility for kids as they have a lot of classes. It has a large workout area but I hate the setup. All the machines are so colse together that a bunch of them are facing each from across. I like my space and it feels so cramped. That we don't come here anymore.

I have been researching places I could donate 10 suits, 4 of them never worn, 25 ties, and 10 dress…read moreshirts I no longer need. FSA seemed to be a good place. We gathered the suits, plus some nice clothes our daughter had outgrown and went there today to donate. I tried to donate the suits but kept being ignored by the workers as I stood there holding them in my arms. No offer of assistance, nothing. A group of people came in and they got assistance right away; apparently they were volunteering to organize donations. I was then asked to move because I was in the way. Nice way to treat people who were trying to donate. So, you missed out on about $4,500 worth of suits by ignoring and then being rude.

Hard pass! NEVER EVER will I donate to this location ever again!!! RUDE MANAGEMENT! Omg!!!…read more It is close to my house, so I have gone here several times out of convenience, and EVERY TIME the management is just downright rude. She acts like she is doing me a HUGE favor by taking my donations. The main lady, that runs the place, is absolutely unkind. She goes through each bag of donation- item by item, and decides which items are worthy enough for donation. Mostly she turns away a ton of things that she deems are not good enough or I guess against their policies-whatever!? Don't come here if you have the slightest bit of sentimental attachment to things you are giving away, because there's no thanks at all, no smiles, no casual pleasantries, no gratitude for what you are giving away. Nada-just cold rudeness. You have to ask for a receipt and then she's really bothered about the effort that takes to give you one. The store is super small and it looks like it's been professionally picked over of anything worth purchasing. Such a shame. I will never ever donate another thing to this location of Goodwill on Palm and Cajon Street in Redlands. Wish I could give ZERO STARS. Whenever I come here to give, I leave with negative feelings about my experience. Yeah no thanks-don't need that. What crappy management. Do better, Goodwill.

We got to stay there for free, which was incredible due to being right across the street from our son in the NICU. The staff there were kind and very empathetic to our situation, and we got to meet other parents/families who were going through similar struggles. It's a place most people don't know fully about, but when you or someone you know has a child in the NICU, it's amazing that there is this place called the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House; a place to call home away from home.

I had a beyond expectation experience with Mindy and her daughter, even though at the end I didn't…read morechoose to go with the adorable and sweet boys Teddy and Khabib they brought for me to meet and interact with. Mindy provided a very personable, warm and extremely responsive service, made every effort to respond to my inquiry on Adopt-A-Pet and approving my application as well as just answering my questions and chatting with me about my potential cat baby's personality traits and his background story. She responded to emails as late as 11PM on a weekend and her demeanor was always welcoming and reassuring, like an old, caring friend. Mindy's words and actions convey that she truly truly love all of her rescued cat babies and she only wants what's best for them and she works extremely hard to find them good homes. I was very sad that neither cat babies from her rescue matched the particular personality I was looking for (I was trying to fill this big hole in my heart with the tragic loss of a stray cat named Cookie I cared for) and I really wished that given all the hard work she and her daughter put into, I'd adopt either Teddy or Khabib. Despite these big, affectionate sweet boys were not the best match I was searching for, I don't think any less of them, I sincerely hope they will find their forever home they deserve and I cannot be more grateful for Mindy's time, patience and understanding she's extended me and my family. If I had more capacity for an additional cat baby in the future after finding THE ONE, Mindy and her rescue is the first place I'd check out. If you are also searching for your feline soulmate, please look no further!!

(I do understand and respect prioritizing the mental health of the cats, but I'm sure the cats, especially the adults, would prefer a compromise, like being required to fill out a one page form on the spot before meeting). Every serious adopter that goes into a pet store and sees one of this organization's animals that they are interested in adopting and is told they have to go through this and this and this step before they can even interact with the cat and know if the personality is a fit. Everyone loses out. In my experience, even if you do go through all the steps, they won't call you back, and a cat that could have had a home I know had that opportunity taken from them because of the seemingly righteous or superior attitude of the rescue people. They surely know how many people go in and out of those cat and kitten rooms at the Animal Friends of the Valley shelter. Having a few people go in one at a time to meet one particular cat, I don't feel, is any more dangerous or unhealthy for the cat than them losing the opportunity to be adopted and eventually being put down. I just don't understand rescues like this. If you're too small to actually help, then let somebody else do it.
