Instructor copies your picture onto black and white canvas and then walks you through eyes, noses, fur, background, color, shadowing, etc. Next thing you know, your picture comes to life. Yes, you sip and paint, meet new friends, catch up with old ones. Food is available as well, it's certainly not the highlight, pizza and cheese platter were ok (pizza lacked cheese, cheese platter was overpriced for what it was) and did the job, but not quite a gourmet eating spot. I had been searching for fun things to do with my Mom while she was in town, this place had good reviews so I thought we'd give it a try. We went around 4 on a weekday so they weren't busy at all. We were surprised with all the painting/crafting options they offered. We decided on the stemless wine glasses. We picked a Grinch face stencil that got etched into one side then we used permanent pens to decorate the other side so we can drink out of the wine glass. The etching had to sit for 20 minutes so we enjoyed some wine and the cheese plate. Both were totally awesome, the homemade crostini was to die for, the array of cheeses and fruit were perfection. Order extra crostini, they are addictive!!! The staff was beyond helpful and the prices were fantastic. My Mom was so glad we did it, it was so much fun, new memories made. Business owner, "Aimee" helped with every detail and question. Venue is spacious, beautiful and clean. Food was great. Girls had the usual cheese pizza and some mom's and I enjoyed the meat and cheese platter and a chicken pesto pizza...YUM! The wine selection and prices were great and very fair. Service was wonderful. My daughter and her 10 friends enjoyed every minute. Amiee was a wonderful and engaging teacher. In fact, it was hard to tell that we had 11 young girls there, they were quiet and attentive to her every word. Her Associate, Shannon was kind and efficient to all the parent and girls. We had our daughters 10th bday there in December. The girl who instructed the class- was not very friendly or patient with the girls. She was Rude and did not make the experience enjoyable. I would not do another party there. The owner was nice and friendly- but didn't go out of her way to help...she just sat in the back waiting for us to be done. Tip for this business; hire someone who enjoys and loves kids- maybe add a tip option/ so that the employees work a little harder and try harder to be fun with the kiddos. read more

It's about time that Roseville/Rocklin got a cool place for adults (and kids) to participate and learn Art whether classes or just creating on your own. I love this place! They have a full art studio for individual painting, pottery painting and other mediums. PLUS, I can enjoy some yummy food (the pizza, small plates and sandwiches are terrific) AND a nice Chardonnay or red wine. They have full menu of beers to select from as well. Their Happy Hour pricing looks decent so I know where I will be hanging out after a long day at work. I noticed last weekend that there was a kid's birthday party going on and several of the dads were sitting at the bar enjoying a beer and each other's company... The ambiance is cool... There's music and a long bar with comfy stools . There are even adult coloring books up on the bar to sit and doodle while you gab with friends.
