We had some leaks in our tile roof. We called several companies for estimates. Weston the owner…read morecame out and actually explained that the tile on the roof that we see is just decoration. The real roof is what lies beneath the tile. He showed us how the felt paper underneath is what really protects the home. Our underlayment was dry-rotted, cracked and there were piles of mud all over it. I had no idea how such a beautiful tile roof was in such bad condition. When we started talking price, he explained that the other bids were lower because the other companies were selling a contractor grade "underlayment" he said his price will be more but the difference is night and day!. his system sold me on the spot. I'd rather pay more but get a substantially better roof system. It included something he called "Elevated Batons" these are the sticks that the tile sits on. they allow air to pass below the roof tile so the heat can escape thus keeping our attic cooler in the summer. The underlayment was a peel and stick material which doesn't get nailed down thus eliminating all the penetrations which over time could leak. The guys showed up on the established start date and completed as scheduled. The team worked very hard. They found the sources of the leaks, replaced the decking added new roof vents, replaced the skylight flashings as they are called. The guys kept the property clean during the process and informed me whenever there was a issue I needed to know about. They were always professional and courteous. It's been 6 months and many rains with ZERO leaks and many recommendations to friends. Outstanding job to Weston, Vidal and team!

His crew was there bright and early every morning. They were very professional and hard working. They did a great job. I would highly recommend their service!

So this is going to be a rather long review. There were a couple of hiccups along the way to…read moregetting my roof replaced, but in the end, Payne/Integrity Roofing did a great job on my roof. I can't overstate how the two installers went above and beyond. They not only did a stellar job of the install, they kept the site clean, and offered extra help as well. But... there is a saga here. My insurance company, who will NOT be getting a nice review, demanded that I replace my entire roof. After having a number of different companies over to see the job, I got estimates which ranged from around 5,000 to over 10,000. This is a 709 square foot house, just a simple roof. The house was built in 1963, so I expected there would need to be some lumber replaced. Payne Roofing was not the cheapest, they were right in the middle, but because of the way they answered questions, and their knowledge, they were the company I decided to go with. Now for the first hiccup: The finance company they use is called ProFund. Steer clear! They offered me "financing" with a 10% charge added to the job, and then 10% annually (I was planning to refinance this along with a few other projects). What they didn't tell me is HOW they were getting the funds. They required my checking account information. Next thing I know, they went in and EMPTIED MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. So they could lend MY OWN money back to me with interest! After a few phone calls, I got my money back, and Payne, who had received the down payment from ProFund actually hand delivered the refund check to me the next day. Do not use Profund. Do. not. A few months later, I got the financing to do the roof, and called them up. The job price was the same, minus the 10% additional charge. The two installers were professional, polite, outstanding, they helped me move some stuff, and for an additional fee, the company allowed me to get rid of some construction stuff in their dumpster. When they saw me moving it, they insisted on helping me. They were awesome. Now to the second hiccup. I drove in and saw that they were installing the wrong colored shingles. I called up the company, no drama, no problem, they admitted it was a mistake on their end, and with just a day of delay, the right shingles were on the house. They installed a vent at the peak of the roof, and did a great job with the flashing and edging, it all looks really nice. There were additional charges for the lumber that had to be replaced, but none of it was unnecessary, and the cost was reasonable. They sent me photos of the roof and the job they had done, and now we get to the third and last hiccup: Me. I looked at the pictures of the shingles, and on many of them a black line at the top of the shingles was visible. I had just enough knowledge to be dangerous in this situation. I thought that if you install shingles, and a black line is visible, you have done the job wrong. I also thought the way the roof penetrations were done was wrong. I was very rude and upset when I called. OK. I admit it... I may have... well I did. I Karened. In my defense, however, I have gotten ripped off quite a few times, and I was in a panic because of the Insurance Company That Shall Not Be Named. They were threatening to not renew my homeowner's insurance if the roof wasn't completed. The deadline was within 2 weeks, and here I had convinced myself that the roof was not done correctly, and not only was I going to have the house damaged the next time it rained, there would be no insurance to cover anything. I have a friend who is in the construction business looked at the photos, and explained to me that yes, just as Mr. Payne had told me, (and I had doubted him), that's what they are SUPPOSED to look like. He also mentioned that Payne has been around for years, and among other professionals, they have a good reputation. He also looked at the pictures of the treatments of the penetrations on the roof, and said they were fine. I called up Payne Roofing and apologized. So, I would recommend this company in the strongest terms. They went above and beyond, their prices were fair and reasonable, the workmanship was good, and when there were bumps in the road, they handled them. They were responsive and polite even when, I have to admit it, I wasn't. You can trust these guys.

I agreed to pay a massive amount of money cause the guy promised they were going to do the job right and remove all the foam from my roof and replace it. He stated that if you don't replace it all, the new foam won't adhear right and I'll have leaks a few years later. Well, they did exactly what they promised they wouldn't do. They left about 40% of the foam (about 8 inches) all the way around the perimeter of the roof and the area when I have a higher ceiling. They just sprayed over top of it. They blew all the dust into my vents on purpose (cause they couldn't blow it over the roof wall so this was the lazy way). I have videos of my kitchen cabinets blowing open cause they blew it down with such force. They trashed my awning and killed my plants. The pitch doesn't allow water to drain off my roof and it's going to cost 20 to 40k to fix. Now they're threating me with court or a lien on my property if I don't pay them another 15k for their terrible work. Save your sanity and stay far away from these guys. I could go on for another 5 or 10 paragraphs about how terrible an experience this was.
