He knows all the models, he knows their features, he knows their prices, he knows what colors he has them in, and he knows what I need. Which, as someone who knows nothing about kayaks and plans to kayak a few times every summer on a very calm lake, is a more affordable option that will float, and has a cupholder. The floating isn't even that important, I just need a spot for my beverage. Our large purchase of kayaks, paddles, straps, and more may not have been that cheap (Joe and I have differing ideas of deals), but Joe was friendly and knowledgable throughout the process, and him and his guys helped us strap them into the back of a pickup so we could get to our destination without leaving a kayak on the road. Basically, if you need a kayak, anything from the baseline model that floats to tandem kayaks or badass streamlined things that rip through the water and are needed for serious trips, this place has you covered.

Dad passed almost 20 years ago and this shotgun had been sitting in my camp, unloved and unused. There was a bad hitch in the rails so the pump action was anything but smooth and some type of feeding issue too. Tad was the gunsmith at Frank's who worked on the gun. He called me to review what I wanted before he started working which was appreciated. The gun was done on time and at a reasonable price. I picked up the gun a few days ago and it looked and worked like a brand new gun. I got it back to my camp and ran half a box of shells through it and couldn't be happier. Smooth and beautiful. They would hold the 6wt for me so it wouldn't sell out (screaming deal on a discontinued TFO Axiom II rod). I had some complicating factors with shipping and they also took care of that. After I sent the return, I called to make sure it was received and that the exchange would go through because it seemed like too many factors to magically happen. Well, Frank worked his magic and it all did go exactly as we discussed. The new rod was sent out the same day they received what I sent back and the shipping info was corrected so it would get to me within a week. I can't recommend these folks enough. Break super easily…read more There is an obvious quality control issue with whatever manufacture they use (surely some shitty china factor) because a few worked fine but most failed. And it wasn't even an issue of testing them to their limits, they broke with hardly any force on them at all. Their flies are annoying because you have to poke a hole in the eye to get the glue out every time; at least with the smaller flies, which is what I bought. This should already have been done and is done by other online sellers like BigYflyco.com and is done with any flies I buy from brick and mortar fly shops. The clippers are junk too and obviously from china. They do not cut cleanly at all. If you buy from them stick to the name brand stuff and avoid their own personal brand crap and avoid their flies if you don't want to be poking out the eye hole very single time you put on a fly.

BEWARE- LUCKY WE ARE ALIVE We had just picked up our boat…read morefrom Alpin Haus in Amsterdam where it was for repair to both engines and propeller as well as winterizing and summering. After such a HUGE repair they didnt test it in the water before giving it back to us. A clean out port "failed" (they cant explain how or why but just know that its "my fault" as the boat owner for not checking it better, their stories change so much I cant keep up ) causing water to shoot into the boat engine gallons per minute sinking both engines and the back end. I WAS WITH JUST MY TWO SMALL CHILDREN and was sure our boat was going to sink. We had to call 911 and be rescued. When the engines stopped, the water stopped shooting in so fast and we were able to hand pump and use bilge enough to stop sinking until rescue came. Now besides the traumatic experience we also have burned seats from there flairs, two destroyed engines and tons of damage to the clean out port area. Now Alpin Haus has zero accountability and denies that their men could have anything to do with it sinking immediately after picking it up from them. THEY DID NOT PUT THE CLEAN OUT PORT IN PROPERLY. I spoke to Ron Craig (3rd highest guy) about it to try to resolve it and he kicked me and my small children out of Alpin Haus and told me to get a lawyer. I went above him and sent a message to the president and owner asking them to call me to discuss what happened. Looks like the owner won't get involved at all and president Andy Heck won't call me but wrote an email to to say he backs up his men and also refuses to answer any of my questions just repeats they are not responsible because I should have checked better. Alpin Haus negligence and lack of accountability has me so worried they are going to cause something similar for another family and the outcome might not be as good as ours. BEWARE AND SAVE YOUR FAMILY from the headache or worse.

Fun songs, dad jokes told better, and I love to her say "Keep paddlin." Lori "Loves to SURF" . This is the best time in the Hudson. We spent several minutes in "Fluffy Box" and she even got the raft turned around!!! We also made it into Bus Stop and got in some good surf there as well. But wait - there's more! We went down Jiffy Pop Backwards!!!!! Bestest Ginger snaps and other super healthy lunch options too, washed down with yummy hibiscus pink tea. The vest ended up being too small so I called to ask about exchanging the vest and I was forwarded to the manager immediately. I had told him my situation and he told me that they were all sold out of that vest because it was a promo. I completely understood that because I have worked in retail before. What really made me mad was that he then told me that there was no way for him to pay for my return shipping which I find ridiculous. I now have to pay them for an item that I didn't want. On top of that the manager rudely told me that there was nothing more he could do and had to go on with his day and then hung up on me. That is TERRIBLE customer service.
