I get that they are running a business and need to establish rules but I think in todays world flexibility in business is necessary esp if you have a long term relationship with clients.

At the end of the session we could not get anywhere close to a finished product. It was a zoom webinar. In comparison, we were reminded of Fibo's structured webinar sessions. Fibo is a 'bar raiser'. We have enjoyed quality art right from the days Fibo offered all-free classes. Jasmine's creativity is out of the box. We sincerely wish Fibo and crew the best and will support in every way we can. Both my wife and I are long time public school staff members and had many choices about where our kids went. WCHS has been the perfect choice. The campus is immaculate; always clean and perfectly manicured. The staff are fantastic and we are picky. They have a full honors program which is also accredited. We have encountered some gifted teaching staff, truly caring about the subject they teach, how it is taught, and the well being of the students as people. They have very professionally trained armed campus supervisors, yes I said armed. I know that may not be a typical comment to state, but sadly in this day and age it is absolutely a fantastic feeling knowing instant safety response is present and a deterrent at your student's school. The athletic facilities are first rate. Go see the gymnasium, baseball field/cages, softball field, outdoor courts and unreal weight room. Top shelf stuff. The programs have high caliber athletes with CIF championships and D1 commits in multiple sports. They play Big time schools and compete. They have multiple CIF All league players. The extra activities for students are unreal: something for everyone going on all the time. Dances, theatre, clubs you name it. It is very safe and welcoming. Perfect size as well, the student body being around 500 makes for a great mix of academics, athletics and solid character development. No fights on campus, clean facilities with a manicured campus, high academic rigor is the dream of all parents for their kids. The last piece should probably have been my lead, the Head of School their is a strong moral leader who has a strong modern leadership base, he treats everyone like they are the most important person on campus. After school program (ASP) is for grades K-6 which is AWESOME! Reduced/Free breakfast and lunch are available. Uniforms are mandatory Richman Shirts & Sweaters. Polo Shirts, dress shirts, blouses and shirts with collars in Red, Blue, or White. Shirts must be tucked in. Navy blue pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers are permitted. Blue Jeans are also allowed. Any Sweater is acceptable and Shoes must be closed toe. School hrs are M, T, Th, F 8-2:24 and W 8-12:30

It seems that instead of evolving, the school has maintained a long-standing pattern of prioritizing image management over addressing the root causes of parent concerns. A sudden spike in positive comments doesn't erase the documented favoritism and safety concerns I've detailed in my original review below. The environment is deeply toxic, specifically regarding a practice known as 'rage baiting.' This is a form of targeted harassment where students intentionally provoke or mock a specific peer until that student has an emotional outburst. Despite this being brought to the attention of leadership, the administration does little to intervene. There is a disturbing pattern of chronic absenteeism among students who were simply avoiding school as a survival mechanism because the environment had become emotionally unsafe. Leadership needs to conduct a serious internal audit to understand why students are choosing to stay home rather than face the daily provocation allowed within these walls. We are part of the unique Orangethorpe Multiage Program on campus, and my kids have thrived! When I found the Orangethorpe Multiage Program I was overwhelmed with relief and gratitude. The Multiage's individualized curriculum has let my kids work grade levels ahead even since Kindergarten. They come to me after school so excited about a "hard" math problem they solved or that they used a new "juicy" word in their writing. Their learning has never had to slow down. Their curious minds are always fed with hands-on learning and monthly field trips. One of my kids has always wanted to be an engineer and he got to develop all those skills with an amazing roller coaster project. He learned to cooperate with his team, trouble shoot and struggle through failures, and help other kids with their projects too. At the end, we had a field trip to Knott's Berry Farm and we stayed from opening to close because we have so much fun with the other Multiage families. Another kid is a talented artist and loves that art is always in the classroom, but most especially when they get to draw nature from the class garden and on field trips to the Arboretum. The classroom itself is beautiful and inspiring. It is covered with artwork, writing, and giant math problems that kids work on over days. The primary class is huge and filled with a library of books, all of which any child of any grade can read. It is always warm and friendly with smiling kids and parents. The teachers know exactly what my kids need academically and support them emotionally with understanding, patience, and kind words. So grateful to have found the Orangethorpe Multiage Program!

Which i find mind blowing. This school as well lets the teachers wrongfully yell at students which is backed up by the principals. The vice principal yells at staff and humiliates them. The 6th grade teacher Cardenas yells at her students then demands a apology. She as well never lets parents know of any incidents because she knows she is in the wrong. This is a horrible school mainly because of the staff but also because of the cleanliness the bathrooms are in horrible condition as well as denying feminine trash bins which leaves female students in a awkward position having to throw away pads/tampons in the main trash bins. Office ladies as well talk bad about students in Spanish in the office because the principals aren't bilingual which is extremely unprofessional. This school favoritism is out of hand which is unfair to students. Staff and principals never get in touch with parents when a student incident happens then they blame everything on the student with no explanation when confronted. Please do not send your kids here.
