They are 6th grade teachers. They always are skibidi sigma and very good. They always try to put a smile on your face and try there best to make your 6th grade year special. The science camp from 2024 was the best out of everything. You get to experience a lot of things and thanks to the district we got to go. You have to appreciate the kindness. The office is very kind and they do everything. They would always find time to respond to calls and emails. It's a little dirty around the field but it's ok I got free snacks walking around the field. Therefore this school is the best but there staff has to be the best part. Just be careful around the bathroom it kinda stinks in the big bathroom and the feminine hygiene is never full it is always empty so you have to go to the front office. All in all it is a very good school with sigma teachers.

Found out that parents are not allowed to sit on the lunch tables for breakfast. Kindergarten teachers are very sweet from what I can tell. Kindergarten doesn't demand a laundry list of supplies that the school needs, which is helpful for single parent households. They actually offered assistance for families who cannot afford it. After school program (ASP) is for grades K-6 which is AWESOME! Reduced/Free breakfast and lunch are available. Uniforms are mandatory Richman Shirts & Sweaters. Polo Shirts, dress shirts, blouses and shirts with collars in Red, Blue, or White. Shirts must be tucked in. Navy blue pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers are permitted. I didn't know how to help my kid…read morebut I knew that something could be better, even though the doctor said that some kids are delayed in different areas and not to worry. I didn't accept that, I knew I could do something to assist. I started researching and looking into how to assist with focus. I came across Brain balance and started reading about the Harvard study. I knew the whole body approach was the way to help with the areas of struggle. With consistency , daily home exercises, and changing some of the processed food, I stated seeing significant changes by month 3. My child was behind 3 levels in reading, now my child is reading at the age appropriate level. Next, the focus has substantially changed and there is minimal struggles with homework and daily activities. The teacher is amazed in the progress and the changes she sees in the classroom. The best thing as a parent is seeing a child succeed in different areas everyday. My child doesn't fall or bump into things as often, actually hardly now. The confidence is at a level I have never seen. I am so happy for my child, and look forward to how the next 3 months transform her life.

As a parent it absolutely broke my heart, they basically told me she would never be able to express how much she loves me or be able to tell me that. My husband and I automatically made it out mission to get her all the help she needed, we placed her ABA, Speech and OT for two years straight. Even-though it did help I still felt like there was more I could do to help her. Brain Balance at Anaheim Hills was the missing piece to the puzzle, a blessing in disguise and the light at the end of the tunnel. I called as soon as she turned 4 years old July2020, and even though we were in the middle of the Pandemic they were will be meet with us and help. Since the beginning it did sound too good to be true but the Director reassured me that they can not cure her Austim but that they would give me the tools to help give her the best future. I respected him so much when he informed me that this was not a temporary solution that this was a LIFESTYLE change. My Husband and I were both up for the challenge and have never looked back since then. By October 2020 we sat down for dinner together for the first time ever without a tantrum and by December 2020 my daughter started putting together 3 words phrases. Fast forwarding to now my daughter is in general education, has friends, play days, extremely social, can be in crowded environments without her covering her ears, and tells me constantly how much she loves me and gives the warmest hugs. I truly believe this program works and each and every trainer has been amazing. They have became family to me because they gave me the tools that I needed to bring light back into my baby girl.

Canyon Hills is a small school for special needs students with moderate to severe disabilities. Usually 80-90 students a year attend. I was extremely happy with her experience at Canyon Hills School. She was taught well and genuinely cared for. They are able to manage many students with behavioral problems and get them to focus on their educational goals. The staff teaches the students many skills that help them out in every day life. They go on field trips, get adaptive physical education, work on individual goals, they get speech therapy, have music therapy, they make friends and get socialization. Overall, Canyon Hills is a great school with many caring staff members who are dedicated to their students. And if she could have the option to go back to Canyon Hills School I would driver her there on Monday.

Previously, my children…read moreattended a private school however, with 3 children it become very expensive and therefore we discovered TLC. Free tuition! We couldn't have made a better choice! Here are the reasons we LOVE TLC: 1. Small class sizes (just like we had at our private school) 2. Feeling of welcoming, one big family! 3. Inclusive, my children have learned to interact with ALL kids! Typical or not! It truly warms our heart to see my children helping others on the playground and in classroom. 4. Teachers are responsive, and highly educated. 5. Kids are always recognized for their kindness and their success. 6. My children LOVE going to school! 7. Because of TLC's Gardening classes with Farmer Mark, the kids have created our own garden in our yard. They educate my husband and I :) 8. Teachers recognize each child's learning level. 9. All parents are welcomed to be part of the TLCCA which allows you to see what the kids are doing, help with parties, come up with fun events and help make TLC fun and engaging! 10. Homework is limited, my kids don't have excessive homework as in private schools. We get to spend more family time together playing Monopoly at home and Uno :) 11. My children are thriving! They are well educated and honestly sometimes we as parents, think they are book smarter than us :) Overall, I cannot emphasize enough about how much we love this school. Did I mention that the principal & Vice Principal know every student by name! That, I love!

After years of experience and having to move my children from school to school because of work-life…read morebalance, I feel with deep confidence this was one of the best elementary schools my children attended. Special Thanks: - Dr. Gary Gerstner and prior principal - Ms. Zachach (pardon the misspelling) - IEP staff - Speech therapist - Dolly Chatterton - Lilia (a name similar to Lily) - Parent/Community Advisory Committee - Parents in action Let me give you some context to compare amongst the other reviewers vs my review as a parent. When my children attended this school, I was a single parent, attending UCI as an engineering student, with a child in the IEP program, and having to manage my children's mother who was later found neglectful by CPS. All of this while working at Disney in customer service and born into poverty. Therefore, I had minimal chances to succeed as a parent, let alone the patience for all the possible mistakes I might encounter from being inexperienced. The Community: The people here are great and the kids are decently behaved. There might be a conflict between children every now and then but they do resolve it. The Parents In Action (PIA) cares about making a difference in the children's involvement with school activities. I've never attended a PTA meeting, sorry. The Staff: I don't like to generalize but they were awesome. I especially recall Dolly and Lilia (similar name to Lily). I put Dr Gary Gerstner and possibly the staff through some stuff with CPA getting involved, like the conflicts between the mother and I. In the end, I wish they knew it saved my children's life. Parent/Community Advisory Committee: The Advisory Committee is another level. I recommend attending if you're a parent looking for advance information regarding how to make the best of your interaction with the school system. For example, I asked what was the best way I can make the most out of the IEP meetings with advance resources. The person who answered my question was highly educated and very prepared. They taught me the steps on making a meaningful impact at each IEP meeting. IEP: The help in the beginning was profound. However, to make the changes necessary to improve as a parent for a child in the IEP, I had to be more involved. The specialists and teachers knew my limitations and made the best decisions available to them. The absolute best advice I received was from Ms. Zachach (pardon the misspelling), to make my child love reading and there is no limit to how much they should read.

But this school really helps kids from infants to their adulthood with learning disabilities. The preschool, in particular, is for everyone. What is really helpful, they use the same helpful techniques for children with learning disabilities in their curriculum. It is like equipping the teachers with super learning powers. It is really to accelerate the learning process. I love how diverse the students who attend this school and teacher ratio is amazing. You have the option of sending your child in for 2xs or 3xs or 4xs or the full the week. The cost to send your child there is extremely reasonable. I was so surprised! Their school schedule is like Centralia's school schedule and has summer school as an option. The only reason why my son has not enrolled yet is my son is receiving certain services from our insurance that is practically the whole day. Once those services go away, we certainly enroll him. I would just schedule a tour and once you go on it, you will be thrilled and ensured that you want your child to attend their preschool program. Oh yeah, their OT class gym is amazing. You should ask for it when you go on the tour to check it out.
