Inexpensive? No... but you get what you pay for,,, especially during holiday sales!…read more A recent storm had out neighbor's patio umbrella take out our umbrella (and a flower box). We bought our deck furniture here, but when we replaced that first umbrella, went with an inexpensive one from the internet. This time, we wanted to go back to the collar controlled tilt feature, so we headed to Fortunoff. It was an early Labor Day deal, and we left happy! A $599 umbrella (that IS a bit silly) was on sale for $199. While that's about double the cheap ones on the net... this one is built better and had the features we wanted. Our sales guy Bill was very helpful, with no pressure. We wanted to bring home the umbrella that day, so he told us what was in stock... and we chose a dark tan model that fit out furniture and chair pads. The holiday sales take the sting out of the regular prices. Wait for them and you'll be rewarded!
