The best way to describe the picturesque compound is that it feels like the town of Spectre from the movie Big Fish. It is adorable and quaint. We had arrived in the early evening and quickly put our luggage into our adorable cottage so we could make our way down to the tavern. We enjoyed many drinks and some typical bar fare along with some conversations with the locals. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and homey. We walked back to our cottage and had a comfortable slumber. It was a great stay and I can't wait to return!

The buildings are cottages you can rent in the general store has a very good dinner and reallycool bar in the basement. We had Guinness beef stew, and a puff pastry, my kids had the shepherds pie with lamb sourced from a local farmer, and we had a peach and blackberry pie that was fantastic. Rich runs the place and is a very kind and accommodating person. He tells the history of the town, how things have been built up and what has been restored. We stayed in the Doc Story House, which is a 2 floor, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, and hot tub replete with uneven floors and stain glass windows leading up the stairs to the second story. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is a unique throwback in time and holy recommend every part of it.

They even had a front porch with chairs that faced a gazebo and a back screened in porch with a ceiling light and fan, two chairs and a table. The people at the front desk when we checked in and when we went back to ask questions about Nashville, were extremely hopeful and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place if you're going to be staying in Nashville, Indiana .

The gal at the front desk was really friendly and nice. They also put up a poster/sign by one of the doors wishing us a happy birthday, so that was a nice surprise! We stayed in a Cane Ridge room with 2 beds and a fireplace. The TV was a smart one and we could log in to our personal streaming service accts. The beds and pillows.... Ahhh.... I'm picky when it comes to these 2 things, but it had to have been one of the most comfortable hotel/inn beds I've slept in. Everything was great and we've already talked about making this a yearly thing. Most of the stores close at 5 pm though which we were a bit put off by. The toy store across the way was so great though! Lots of cute shops and decent food around.

I love the large rooms, full kitchen, two bathrooms, and balcony. Sure, the carpet could be replaced - but otherwise I love the fact that it hasn't been modernized. The unit we stayed in was clean and everything worked - what more can you ask for? My guess is that Hotel Nashville started out as a timeshare or something to that effect. This would explain why the units are so big. We took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub. It's pretty rare to find a hot tub these days. The lobby offered coffee. We didn't get a chance to check out The Chop House restaurant, but the menu looked great. This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel and I would definitely come back! The price is great, and the units are huge!

The people working at the hotel are extremely nice, but the hotel is very run down and not worth the price! When I received my room key, I walked up to my room. The rooms are huge, but are severe need of an update! The bathroom had cracked tiles and the vent was hanging from the ceiling. The closet had minimal places to hang clothes and were attached to the rod as if the owners are afraid of people stealing hangers. The kitchenette area was filthy! The fridge had thus rusted, the dishwasher was dirty, and the had minimal utensils, plates, and cups (which I would not use). The utility room had the door missing and the light in this room was bare (which I believe is a violation). Lights in the bathroom were brunt out. The kitchen had no paper towels or cleaning cloths. The linens in the bathroom were bare threads. NO housekeeping services. I had to walk down to the front desk to obtain clean linens; then bag my old lines and place outside the door. The pool should be condemned! Mold, ceiling falling in, and just filthy. This place could be a very nice Mom and Pop Hotel in Brown County if the owner fixed the place up a bit.
