They also put up a poster/sign by one of the doors wishing us a happy birthday, so that was a nice surprise! We stayed in a Cane Ridge room with 2 beds and a fireplace. The TV was a smart one and we could log in to our personal streaming service accts. The beds and pillows.... Ahhh.... I'm picky when it comes to these 2 things, but it had to have been one of the most comfortable hotel/inn beds I've slept in. Everything was great and we've already talked about making this a yearly thing. Most of the stores close at 5 pm though which we were a bit put off by. The toy store across the way was so great though! Lots of cute shops and decent food around.

These are two bedroom, two bathroom, fully stocked privately owned condominiums that they rent just like a hotel room- and priced similar to many of the local hotels too! We had an upper level condo with a great view of the golf course. It was very peaceful and serene, just what we needed after a full day of shopping and eating fudge. We had a wonderful, casual dinner up at their bar that night and received great food and service. The next trip will actually be with the hubby. He'll be dropped off on hole #1 as I take off to town. My ONLY disappointment is that I didn't discover these condos years ago.

We thought she meant transportation to the other side of the hotel (it was before we got outside and saw how close the room was). It would have been a nice perk if she'd been a little more explicit and engaged. It may have been a particularly busy night, but there wasn't a line or anything. The room was fine, clean. Weird design for the bathroom sink, with a 3-inch gap on either side just begging for you to drop your toothbrush down in there. Constant vigilance. Ok, I should start by saying we did NOT stay here. We actually learned about the Rawhide from the…read morevisitor center after we arrived at our cabin outside of Nashville. We had asked about geocaching at the visitor center and they referred us to the Ranch. We drove up during a period they obviously weren't expecting visitors as all the staff was out working. However, that didn't stop Derek from dropping everything and greeting us promptly. He told us about many of their activities, even if you don't stay there, which including learning geocaching, horse back riding, and zip lines. For the geocaching, they actually teach you how to do it and have caches hidden on the property for those that are new to it. As we have experience with geocaching this is something we weren't interested in but in spite of that, Derek still spent time telling us about many cool ones in the area. Super helpful and friendly. Two days later we decided to give the zip lines a shot (they take them by reservation). It's called holler hoppin' with Fritz and it was a blast. Great beginners course for those that have never been. Fritz and Derek were our zip line guides and they were hysterical. The zips were fun but their jokes and good natured humor made the hour extremely fun. After we were done instead of just politely showing us back to our car, Fritz took the time to give us a tour. He showed us the hotel, told us about the activites for families and groups, never rushing us even though I'm sure he had better things to do. The facilities appeared to be amazing and the set up I saw would be excellent for families. Everything they do is family friendly and the staff is great. Prices seemed very reasonable, again priced for families. Give these guys a try!

You almost don't have to take anything besides yourself, clothes and toiletries. For amenities, I would says bring two things, a hot spot and a fan. The house stays on about 72-75 degrees and the temperature can not be changed. For people like me, 65 is comfortable and anything over 70 is unbearable while sleeping. If you do not have Verizon you do not have service here. So if you want to get away and not be bother then great. The wifi is splotchy. Sometimes it seems to work most of the time it does not. So, in conclusion. The cabin is beautiful, but the luxuries we have and take for granted most likely will not work this far into the woods.

Spent the night here after a day at the Indianapolis Zoo. We felt like family as soon as we walked…read morein the door. The room was immaculate, large and beautifully decorated. I usually carry a book for while my granddaughters swim, but this time I was the one that didn't want to leave the pool area! Fun for all ages! The lifeguards were so friendly, the hot tub so relaxing, the lazy river was amazing and the water slide was so much fun! The Nashville fried biscuits were delicious! Our stay was short but amazing, surrounded by the tranquility and beauty of nature. This is a must stay!

We had a great time in the park and in Nashville. The kids had a great time playing in the waterpark area. The rooms were very clean and updated. The front desk personnel were friendly and accommodating..always helpful. We ate breakfast one morning. It was a buffet and everything was delicious. The personnel there were also very helpful and friendly. There is only one thing I believe should be improved and that would be the mattresses. They were passable but could be better. We really enjoyed the playgrounds in the park. The Nature Center is amazing!
