I have always loved Acquired Taste's teas; they are fresh, well crafted, made with high quality ingredients. There are so many different varieties from Green, White, Rooibos, Puer, Black and on and on. Two of my faves are the Maple Creme that is sweet yet bold, and a herbal tea made with berries that are indigenous to the Prairie Provinces - it makes an amazing gift for out of town visitors. The staff is very nice, they can help you find what you are looking for. But if you just want to browse around, they are quite good at just letting you be to smell all the tea jars. If you are driving down and street parking is all filled, try going down the side ally, there are usually lots of spots in the back of the building for parking that are free. Let Tea Time begin!

I opted to get the mix soft cream to try the matcha and houjicha (roasted green tea) flavors. They were both nice and rich in flavor. Ordering was super easy and I really enjoyed the pictures on the menu so I could visualize what the dessert look like. Ambiance was pretty nice too I could see it being a nice study spot or a spot to meet friends! I do think the desserts are a little on the pricier end but I think if you're craving a good matcha dessert, Tsujiri is a good option to consider!

They put a lot of attention into the details of everything they make as if they're crafting something. This aspect is something distinct from a lot of other places in Edmonton. They also have psychic services too, available by drop-in or booked appointments; you can choose what kind of reading: tarot, palm, etc. The wall opposite of the cashier has the names of the fortune tellers and what their pricing is like which is fairly reasonable and helps to avoid any surprises when it comes to payment. My friends had their tarot read in the back room and the psychic also let them record the reading on their phone and take pictures of their tarot spread which is really helpful to reflect on later!
