This was a random stop for us while exploring Cork. We came to the Alibi Bar + Kitchen based on the awesome music playing outside. A lot of it was from the 80's - 90's rock and mixed with some English classic rock songs! Shane and Leanne was serving us and we had the best time conversing with them. A favorite part about travelling is learning about the culture of the area and having the chance to speak to people that want to talk to you. Shane and Leanne were so fun to talk to, really great people!
Now on to the food. We tried the Burrata Salad. Very fresh ingredients! And also tried this lamb kabob dish wrap thing. Very meaty and flavorful. Unfortunately, we had too many guinesses to remember to take pics of the dishes...
On to the drinks. We ordered about 10-12 guinesses in the time span of about 2-3 hours so...that's all I can review. The guiness were tasty as usual!
We meant to just stop by for a drink or two, but with Shane's awesome music Playlist and the fun convos with Shane and Leanne, we had stayed till the sun went down and created a fond memory of Cork thanks to this bar! read more
