Conveniently located near the Woolen shop. What's better than shopping and eating?? Service was a little slow but just make sure you allocate sufficient time before the tour bus leaves. Very nice decor like a busy bar. Seating is open so sit any where you find a seat and then

Friendly and accommodating staff members. Constantly busy and working their tails off, especially Linh! Food is good (fish and chips and Lamb), drinks are well priced with variety, spacious inside and outside. Would recommend using bar code on table as servers will be inundated with literally everything!

Christie's is right next to the Woolen Mill which states it is the largest Irish Store in the world. It draws tourists internationally, so it is quite busy. Christie's waited on us promptly and delivered some of the best fish and chips we have tasted. The staff are friendly and really work to please. Highly recommend.

I came on a day tour with PaddyWagon tours to tour Blarney Castle and was looking for some lunch. We headed to the cafe and it looked like a buffet style, very open, and busy. Looking for something a little bit more relaxing we strolled in to Christy's. What a great pub! The service was great from the time we walked in, a few customers at the bar. I tried a couple local brews before settling on the Killarney Blonde Ale, nice and refreshing. The menu isn't huge which made ordering easy. A nice pub style menu. I chose Christy's Famous Steak Sandwich. The Steak Sandwich was fantastic, a Cajun marinated steak on a ciabatta roll with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, mustard, and mayo. Perfect! The steak was tender and lean. Easy to bite through with perfect flavor it was easy to see why it was famous! They may want to add fabulous to the description because it was absolutely amazing. The sandwich comes with French fries and salad garnish. The salad garnish was an amazing surprise of fresh greens that complimented the sandwich. The fries were very good. The prices were very reasonable, the service was awesome, and the place was fabulous. I couldn't believe this hidden gem was not on Yelp! I would love to go back and try other items.

Came here after our trip to Blarney Castle. Short stop for lunch, so we sat at the pub to ensure quick service. Nice pub, good selection of local beers. We had the seafood chowder and pints of Murphy's stout. The chowder was a large portion and delicious! They also offered selection of muffins and tea/coffee on special until 4pm
No time for a long review, just wanted to mention that Christy's Pub served up the best beef Irish stew I've had so far in Ireland, and I've had a lot of beef stew! Chicken club sandwich was okay, easily outshined by the stew. Get the beef! read more
The seating was super comfortable and came with a lot of conifigurations to accommodate group sizes. The service was excellent. They set clear expectations of how long it would take for the food to be prepared. Thy remained very tolerant when the table next to us made Americans look bad. The fries were super crispy and the plate came with a good amount of them. Both sandwiches had great flavor, the right amount of ingredients, and well toasted bread. read more

After shopping at the Blarney Woolen Mill, we were all hungry and decided to have lunch at this place. We ordered some chicken wings, toasted special sandwich, fish and chips and their soup special of the day (chicken and corn). Everyone enjoyed their food and I personally thought the fish and chips was one of the best we had in Ireland. The beer was refreshing and the service was fast. The food and drinks were also reasonably priced. read more

Truly the worst food I've ever had in my life. We stopped here after a tour of Blarney Castle after a recommendation from our tour guide, and I really can't understand how this place has great reviews. The table next to us similarly was really unsatisfied with their meal (we shared a deep disgust over the burgers we were served that were truly inedible). It tasted like a cafeteria burger, was thicker than it should have been, and had the weirdest spongey consistency. I also really hate when restaurants ask if you have allergies yet still fail to include all of the ingredients listed under a dish. Just because I don't have an allergy to something doesn't mean I necessarily want it on my plate. read more

My sister lives in the area and I have stopped here numerous times for meals and drinks. The location is convenient and we usually don't have an issue getting a set and/or service! The staff is always friendly and happy to answer any questions. During my last stay, my husband and I would pop in daily for an evening drink before retiring to our hotel room. The staff was super friendly and attentive. One night we got their brownie dessert which was delicious! read more

We were trying to figure out where to eat and got into this great bar. The food was delicious and in significant portions. Our group had the Chowder, fish and chips, lamb, and burgers; everyone was pleased with their selection. The drinks were also great. Excellent and friendly service, thank you! read more
I was looking for a quick lunch while my wife was shopping in the Blarney Woolen Mill store. Christy's was located adjacent to the woolen mill store and had both interior and patio seating. Since I was eating alone, the patio seating appealed to me. I went indoors to order and they brought the food to me on the patio. I had a bowl and really good seafood chowder that was served with brown bread. The chowder and bread were good / the service was OK -- not much in the way of service other than bringing the food to me on the patio - i.e. there was no follow-up expected and none received. The food was good; the service met the basic expectations and the prices were reasonable. Generally a good lunch but not somewhere I'd make a point of going back to if I were in the area. read more

Service was un-responsive and the food was the worst that we had in Ireland. we had ordered the steak and burger. The steak was very dry and tough. the vegetables that came with it were mush and over cooked. the hamburger was dry and the bun was completely covered in grease or oil. Go somewhere else for a meal. read more

Christy's is a wonderful and welcoming pub right in Blarney. The sandwiches were fantastic. Fresh, well seasoned and delicious.

Do you like smoked salmon? Then this place is for you. After crawling around the Blarney Castle (literally - some of the staircases were so steep I had to crawl on my hands and knees!) we needed some fortification. Christy's is a large pub attached to the Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel. They have a traditional pub menu and I ordered the smoked salmon plate, complete with delicious brown bread and butter. It was excellent and others in our party enjoyed their meals, as well. If you have never tried the Budweiser in Ireland, grab a pint and sit back for a super-delicious experience. I swear it tastes so much better in Ireland than in the US. Who knows why? read more

This place was fantastic!!! Was going to order the tomato basil soup but waitress suggested the seafood chowder. An excellent recommendation!!! I then ordered fish and chips, the portion was very large. The batter on the cod was crispier than I ever had, the cod was fresh, moist and flaky. I couldn't finish it all to my dismay but walked away full and content. If you go on a Blarney tour do yourself a huge indulgence and stop here to eat you won't regret it !!! It seemed to be s local favorite. I forgot to mention it is in the Woolen Mill complex. read more

We did not think we would find much near Blarney Castle but stumbled on the Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel and Christy's. The lamb shank was fantastic. Would definitely get it again. read more

This restaurant is in the Blarney Woolen Mill. Kind of like a mini mall. The restaurant is almost always busy. Good food and good service. I got the fish and chips with a Guinness. Large portions and reasonable price read more
