It was always a smooth process. So when it came time to finally sell the final property there was no question in my mind who I would turn to handle the transaction. The sale was made as part of a 1031 Exchange which takes special expertise and Mark brought this and much more to the table making the entire process as efficient and as transparent as possible. His market analysis and subsequent contract negotiation was on the mark - pun intended - and we brought the sale to close in record time. Timing was important because of the Exchange requirements which necessitate closure within some very strict parameters. To assist in this Mark referred me to an excellent colleague of his in my acquisition market - Richmond, VA - and that proved key in making the entire process work. What could have been a tricky - and costly - procedure went very quickly and very smoothly. My time in the Reston market both as a resident and investor has now come to a close but were that ever to change Mark would be the first person I'd call to get it taken care of. He is a person of integrity whose opinions I value, skills as an agent I admire, and recommendations I have faithfully and profitably followed. If you're in need of a truly professional real estate agent, I highly recommend him to you. He does not disappoint. Thanks Marks!

HE IS THE PERSON WHO HELP US TO FIND THE HOUSE JUST WITHIN THE 2nd OFFER in NICE AREA! My husband and I met Franky at one of the open houses in Washington DC. At that time, we didn't have any idea about the home-purchasing process. Even Though we searched online, we still got lost since we didn't know what the first step was and what our priority was. Franky helped us to understand the overall process, and encouraged us to think about our future life to set the goal of home-purchasing. Even Though we were not his clients at the moment, he gave us a 1-hour presentation of the whole process with the pamphlet. When we decided to go with Franky, he tried his best for us to find our FIRST HOME with some of our considerations. Since both of us work full-time, he made house-tour appointments or meetings (regarding making offers) after work hours. After our offer was accepted, Franky and his team gave sufficient advice regarding everything, such as locking the mortgage, depositing, final walk through, and the settlement! It took only 6 weeks to move into the new home since we started to look at the house to buy. As you can see my name, I am a foreigner and the whole process seemed overwhelming for me. However, Franky helped my husband and I to relieve the stress by communicating with the selling agent and title company. (Oh, I heard that he speaks English as well as Spanish). If my friend who came from foreign country asks me to recommend any agent, I will recommend FRANKY and his team! I am writing this review in my new, cozy room, where I dreamed about since I immigrated here. I can convince that if you work with Franky, you will never regret.

Flash back a few months, I met Dave at an open house and instantly thought he was awesome. I was working with another realtor at the time and was having no success in the crazy Arlington house market. My boyfriend and I made the difficult and very worth it decision to thank our former realtor for her time and start working with Dave. As soon as we made that decision everything changed. Our first meeting with him was so professional, but still a lot of fun. He asked us a ton of questions about our lifestyle, budget, what we like/don't like etc. He set us up with a search and we went on our way. Just two weeks later a townhome came on the market in Ballston and we were hooked. Dave toured it with us, was super honest about the pros and cons, and let us think on it for a day. This is my first home so I was nervous to write an offer, but I felt super comfortable with Dave's guidance. We made the offer and unfortunately didn't get the place, I was crushed. Thankfully, this is where Dave's network and persistence came into play. He knew the listing agent and stayed in constant contact with her to ensure we were the first ones considered should the buyers back out. Lo and behold, they did, and he quickly turned around a backup offer. They accepted!!! I was ecstatic! I thought Dave was the best at this point, and somehow he got better. His recommendations for lenders were incredible and I got a rate that no one could believe, and the title company he works with made everything seamless. We had a quick close because of the crazy process we went through, but Dave and our title company did everything to ensure we were well taken care of. We closed last week and I can honestly say none of this wouldn't happened without Dave. He's the best realtor, and now someone I call a friend. I can't recommend him enough!

I was referred to Maria Fernandez, interestingly enough, through my first real estate agent (who was making career changes). At this point, I had all but given up on finding a property for purchase in DC and was going to settle on renting for the remainder of the time that I was going to live here. However, I found Maria to be extremely knowledge (both of the city and of the market), friendly, patient, and above all honest. She was able to unravel the extremely complex and convoluted path to purchasing a home in DC while working with a myself, with a very difficult work schedule, and my family who are located a few hours away. With every property we visited, she was able to give a thorough summary of the highlights and possible shortcomings of the property. She was honest when she did not have the information I asked for and was timely in response when she found my answer. When working with Maria, it does not feel like she is trying to sell you a property, it feels like she is trying to help you find your future home. Whether it was last minute calls to see a property, or when I was late to a showing due to work constraints, she always met me with a friendly demeanor and understanding. As a first time home buyer and a transplant to DC, I cannot imagine a better first agent with whom to make a purchase of a home.

Yes, he is that good. He is my realtor for 2 years and handled three separate transactions for me successfully and timely for my 4-bedroom single family home in Northern Virginia. He located my first year renter on the second day when the house was on the market. Then he located my 2nd year renter prior to the house on the market. Further impressive, he found me the buyer offering a full price on the first day the house on the market. We closed the house in 21 days. Who can beat his record? This is not coincident. It is his skills, his effectiveness and his critical thinking. As his client, I reap the benefit through and through. Ah, BTW, he has a whole crew support him so you get more than just him. That's a strong force you would like to have when you are ready to sell or rent your house. Mike was with me and had my best interest in mind at all times. That impressed me. For instance, I was ready to pay workmen for whatever work they rendered. He would prompt workmen insightful questions that I would never have thought about. And further he would negotiate the good deals with workmen as he was dealing this for himself. I treated him as my business partner and appreciated his brilliant advice. He is a very logical thinker and smart in many important ways (e.g. set the right price point, know what needs to press and what to let go, etc.). We worked very well together. He never stepped on my toes but was always there to support me 100%. I wish I had more houses for him to sell/rent or house to buy. On the other hand, for those who need a really really GOOD realtor.
