Aside from the annoyance of the text, the blatant lie that I reached out to them and requested realty services is just a joke. I've been contacted by the official Jill judge account, and most recently received texts from her husband and an employee. Today, the employee sent me the below text and my response is included. In the same unprofessional capacity I've seen while I worked with their team, instead of replying my apologies, you'll be removed from our list, they blocked me. My first home buying experience with any realtor was with Jill judge so it really set the tone for what I did not want in a real estate team. The first time I ever went to tour condos, Jill said SHE would be touring homes with me. Instead, she sent a 20 year old male employee. For obvious reasons, as a woman, this is extremely poor behavior. Not only did she send this male employee, she didn't give me a heads up she was doing so. The coop I wanted to initiate an offer on got somewhat far along in the process until a good friend of mine discovered the building didn't allow animals. Allowing animals was one of my few requirements. From then on, Jill did little work to assist in this process, which is evident in the email I sent her from 2022. Again, I would not have written this review had her team exhibited any semblance of professionalism to a.) stop contacting me and b.) responding in any professional capacity instead of blocking the number. She also inspected the unit and had a professional photographer come in and create wonderful pictures and  a professional brochure. All this paid off when we were able to get a contract less than 48 hours from posting. We received a competitive offer that Wendy helped negotiate to turn it to a great offer. We closed 15 days after being on contract, which meant I didn't have to make another mortgage payment. During the closing process it was also a pleasure to work with. She spotted minor mistakes on the documents before I even had a chance to look at. This was my first sale and I was a bit nervous, and I'm a very "demanding" (my wife says difficult) person, but Wendy's professionalism, knowledge and passion put me at ease and we made a great time. I highly recommend having her on your team. I've only worked with her on the seller side, and I'd definitely consider working with her in the future.

We wanted to find an agent who would listen to our goals, help us understand our options, and explain them to us in plain language. We found such an agent in David. Even before we signed on with him, he met with us to discuss the market in Northern Virginia and develop a strategy for finding the best house for us. For the next few weekends, he developed well-organized house hunting trips to show us what was on the market and demonstrate the trade-offs we needed to consider given our budget and goals. David had a good ear for translating our occasionally incoherent feedback into ever more fruitful trips. By the third weekend, we found the perfect home for our needs, and that's when David's talents really came to the fore. Buying a home in Arlington is a competitive process. There were 5 offers on the house we selected, but David helped us structure our offer in an appealing way. He talked us through some strategies to make our offer stand-out, and gave us honest assessments about the benefits and trade-offs of these approaches. Throughout the process, David was in touch with the seller's agent to make sure we stayed on top of their deadlines and requirements. After our offer was accepted, David helped us coordinate with the various actors (lender, appraiser, etc) involved in the process, and was available any time to answer our questions. We went to make an offer on the property, and was instructed it required many steps including a cashiers check, etc. We were instructed to do all of this quickly and we complied. Later we were instructed to send over paystubs and additional info, and we also did, quite literally within minutes. 2-When I dropped off my cashiers check, the man there "Roger" did not give me a receipt. Instead he said "don't worry, we have handled much larger checks" Completely uncalled for and rude. 3-We were told we would get an update Tues. We got nothing. We called and left voicemails on Tues, and Thurs, we asked another agent to call to get information for us, and we sent several emails. We got no answer. 4-Finally when we called and got JD herself, she immediately told me we were not chosen for the property. (Uh, you didn't even ask me my name!) and then she went on to say, "Well you didn't have anyone representing you!" (Uh... well I thought the lady from your team was my representation?) We found out later they did not even run our credit check and simply chose the other applicant because they had offered 24 months instead of 12. Had they come back to us we may have considered counter offering. Meanwhile, she gave me a lecture on how they are representing their client and finding the best deal for their client. Utter rubbish. They did not keep us informed, they were insolent and had no regard for our time and time lost waiting for them could have been used to see other properties. But what is most unforgivable is that they knew we had a small child and were trying to make the transition for her quick and easy, and they simply did not care. I would strongly urge consumers not to use this company or JD herself. She is unprofessional, rude and antagonistic.

In our experience, many property managers in D.C. establish high ratings on their web pages, but outsource tenant services to very poorly rated companies. Unhappy tenants deal with the outsourced company and post their reviews there. This allows these other property managers to keep a high rating that may not be deserved. This covid market is incredibly hard on buyers during this time, with the best looking properties receiving 10+ offers. Kenneth was very spot on in estimating how much a place would go for, and what it would take to try and beat the other offers--the only reason my boyfriend lost to one, for example, was because my boyfriend just wasn't willing to go any higher, but we found out Kenneth was right (of course) on what it would've taken to win. Kenneth is incredibly responsive and so easy to talk to. We are extreme night owls, and my boyfriend hates checking his email. Kenneth is so easy to reach (we communicated via messenger), and so responsive. And even late at night at 2 AM, my boyfriend felt awful messaging him, but Kenneth was truly okay with it and was still awake, and still responded. I always ask a lot of questions, but my boyfriend asks a LOT of questions (sorry bf haha), but Kenneth has always been able to answer all the questions, or looked into it if he didn't know the answer. One VERY valuable knowledge Kenneth possesses (aside from his spot on realtor instincts) is he's familiar with renovations and can give you a rough estimate of how much a renovation for, say, a bathroom, would be. His family apparently works in that field, so it was pretty neat and informative to ask him to estimate how much a kitchen renovation would cost (while looking at the sad sad kitchen), so we can take that cost into consideration. This was also valuable where Kenneth could advise what to renovate to ensure value add, if we were interested in the property. Last, Kenneth is just so generous and nice. One time after seeing 4 houses, I asked him later that night how the rest of his day went, and he said that he was so tired, he fell asleep at a home depot parking lot (which I found hilarious). But, I found out later that he was at the home depot to buy materials to help his client (seller) polish her "as is" property, and without her knowing :).
